After staring at dozens of websites and visiting a couple of stores in person, I decided to contact Hagerstown Kitchens to see if they could build new bathroom vanities. They did the cabinets for the kitchen and 5 bathrooms when house was built in 2001. The master bath vanity turned out very well and much better product than anything I saw online for comparable price. Yes, you have to plan ahead or build in a wait but it was worth it.

The product and customer service here is horrendous. I saw their cabinets in a showroom and wished to support a local business. HUGE mistake. The cabinets I received had joints that didn’t fit together cleanly and the paint covering them was completely uneven and hideous. I spoke with David in their customer service department because I can’t believe they let a product like this off their floor. I was told by him that he wouldn’t talk about my order with me (the customer) because he doesn’t have a contract with me. My contractor had them remade. The brand new cabinets came with the exact same problems: the paint looks like the cabinets are made of sandpaper because the doors appear bumpy to the eye and the touch and there were gouges in the wood (so nothing paint can fix anyway). My contractor who has done business with Hagerstown before said he’ll never do so again. He plans to get a furniture repair person to attempt to salvage the trash Hagerstown provided their customer.

Installed custom cabinets this June. Excellent sales woman was fired before our work began so had to call just before installation was to begin to discover that owner took over our contract. Dave was obtuse and apparently did not read into our arrangements before hand. Poor to no communication from this man throughout whole process. Installer fortunately was flexible to work around our flooring installers. Had 1.5 hours notice on day that countertops arrived because by chance I called HK office and spoke to another sales woman. Final product looks ok and installer did good work. But cannot recommend working with this company overall. Try another cabinet company to avoid serious mistakes or delays. Otherwise, do NOT rely on owner to coordinate any of the remodeling.

Our builder recommended Hagerstown Kitchens and we met with Kim Fox for a couple of hours to make selections for our Kitchen, Bar, Laundry Room, and kids bath vanity. Kim was extremely helpful sharing her insight from her years of experience as a designer and also listening to our likes and dislikes to help in shaping our design. The finished product far exceeded our already high expectations and are cornerstone features to our new house. HKI offers a wide variety of selections for different tastes and price points. Our focus was on the kitchen so we selected a lower price point for the laundry room while not sacrificing functionality, looks and quality. The follow up customer service was top notch as we had some follow up questions to help with faucet selections, etc. Our experience with HKI was a positive aspect of our new build. We would recommend HKI to anyone looking for quality products, variety of selections, and great customer service.

My designer ordered a vanity and bench for my master bath project. She ordered in May and the vanity arrived last week and we just received the bench. I can not speak of the quality of the product as we have yet to use it, however I can speak to the timeliness and delivery of the product. It took from at least May 12th until July 22nd to receive all of the product ordered. In my opinion this was extremely long. The vanity arrived last week, however they could not find the bench on the truck. The delivery person discovered the bench at the front of the truck later and then could not deliver it until today. I understand errors do occur, however I feel as if an extreme amount of time was taken. I did not expect a vanity to take as long as it did.

We have been working with Hagerstown Kitchens for about 20 years now. Their attention to detail is incredible and they have a fantastic ability to design, customize, and construct to any individuals' tastes. The cabinetry is the highest of quality. Rick Dean is an amazing Hagerstown rep who always resolves any issues we encounter (which does not happen often anyway) extremely quickly. We recommend them to all of our clients and I would recommend them to anyone who is considering remodeling or building new! A++

We purchased nearly 22 years ago and shipped cabinets here to BERMUDA where humidity is high but the cabinets essentially are still in very good condition. The internal components such as turnaround shelves and lazy susans at the time were not up to par but perhaps they have caught up with the top of the line manufacturers. I still love our overlay raised panel doors- originally ordered in 'frosted' finish but which we have painted a couple of times and they still look great!

Paula at their Chambersburg, PA location was very friendly and stayed late to work on our design. It is well worth the drive to go and work with her she knows her stuff, she has worked with many of the homebuilders in the area and knows a lot of the layouts of the kitchens in the newer homes. What a great person to work with .

We recently purchased custom oak kitchen cabinets from Hagerstown Kitchens. Long story short, they are beautiful! The wood finish, overall quality, and attention to detail is top-notch, and my wife (the true judge) couldn't be more pleased. One of our favorite features is the easy-close hardware. No more slamming doors or drawers -- the hardware ensures everything closes quietly and smoothly. A very nice added touch! Working with their interior designer, Kim (who really knows her stuff), we planned out every inch of the kitchen. Kim was a wealth of information and often steered us in the right direction. She also provided us with great visuals that showed us an accurate layout of the finished kitchen, which really helped us refine and make the right decisions in the process. So, if you're looking for superior cabinets, don't waste your time looking elsewhere. Rest assured that Hagerstown Kitchens will take care of you.

Kim Fox with Hagerstown Kitchens was extremely knowledgeable, personable and patient as she guided our family of five through the selection process. The finished product was excellent. We are delighted with the attention to detail: the soft close doors/drawers and the lovely wood finish.

We have been completely satisfied with our experience working with Kim Fox and Hagerstown Kitchens in the design and installation of bookcases and cabinetry in our library. Kim has a friendly and professional manner, combined with substantial expertise that resulted in a thoughtful and productive discussion on the goals and objectives for the project with respect to design, function and budget. Her final design reflected excellent attention to detail incorporating architectural features existent in our period home. Care was taken to make sure that measurements were accurate to ensure a smooth installation procedure in a home that presents some challenges given the age of the home (circa 1890). All work was on on schedule, professionally performed and of excellent quality.
