Thank you to the Nashville team for our amazing new outdoor space! Scott, Will and the masonry team built a beautiful stone patio with surrounding seat walls and gorgeous new stairs leading to the patio from our porch.The workmanship and quality are outstanding! The space has transformed our home and we live in our new outdoor space. From start to finish we had constant communication and attention from the team. We look forward to continuing our vision with Hardscape Contractors.

Hardscape Contractors did an excellent job for us. We renovated a building and part of the renovation was to install a very large patio area and install new landscaping around the perimeter. HC came up with a well thought out design for the patio area which included a pergola, stone pavers, a fountain, stone bench seating, retaining walls, privacy fence, concrete stairs and railings. This exceeded the client's wants and they kept it within our budget.

We had two crumbling railroad tie retaining walls in our backyard replaced with beautiful boulder walls complete with stone stairs by Hardscapes. Their design exceeded our expectations and the finished product turned out amazing! It completely changed our backyard. The staff doing the construction were professional and they even saved a tree next to the wall which a competing company said would need to be torn out. They went above and beyond the ‘other guys’. Update: I am upgrading my review to a 3 star. After Months of back and forth between Mike and myself, things were fixed to my satisfaction. I ended up ordering a burner on my own from Montana Fire Pits. They sell a burner from a company called "Warming Trends". Our project was a stamped concrete patio and a gas fire pit. The stamped concrete turned out to be the best part. The concrete work was subcontracted out. The fire pit is a different story. #1--The fire pit was installed on top of the concrete. (Multiple landscapers have taken a look at it and stated that it should have been built first with the concrete poured around the fire pit.) The fire pit will move in the next 5 years we've been told. #2--Initial burner was small for a big fire pit (22 inch burner in a 46 inch opening). I had to complain to get it replaced and the 2nd burner could still be bigger. #3--The caps on the fire pit were glued down and not symmetrical. We complained about the caps and were given the statement, "The product is bad. We tried." After talking to another company, they came and fixed the caps in 1 hour and would not take any money. I would not hire Hardscape again.

excellent at planning the features we wanted and was easy to work with changes ,the end product came out to be a fun entertaining area we wanted !

Mike came to our home to gather our thoughts for the plans. He designed a very professional sketch of the terracing, patio, boulders & plantings. He was patient with our work commitments & getting down to pick out supplies- the whole time moving forward with his piece. Mike's crew of men were at our home prompt daily as they were scheduled. They worked through brutal heat and were pleasant and made conversation when I Or my husband would enter the yard with questions. The gentlemen explained things, changed a (super) minor detail I didn't like without annoyance or haste. The final invoice reflected exactly what we had spoken of, not the overage our neighbors had received from a different company. Our family completely recommends this group. HARDSCAPE CONTRACTORS is a strong small business we should support as a community!!! (And I found them on Houzz.com) ;)

Mike and his crew did a great job overall. Timely, professional and answered all our questions. Even after the job was done, he was more than willing to answer questions and give us detailed information on our fountain's care, plant names and care etc. We've already had a number of people walk up and complement the feature. Look forward to working with him in the future.

Mike from Hardscape has been beyond wonderful to work with. He listened to our ideas and visions on what we wanted, and worked hard to make it all come true while adding his experitise on things we didn't know. He is very professional and his crews got everything done for us in a timely fashion. He listens, is kind, professional and was out here everyday making sure what was done, was right. Hardscape contractors have helped transform our outside with soft scape and hard scape. We have use them now three times and every time has just added so much more character to our house. Mike and And his team have always been timely, well priced, and very efficient with everything that they were doing. Hardscape Contractors did a fantastic job with our landscaping for our new house. We met with Mike Brown who spent time hearing what look and style we were looking for. In combination with the outside elements of our house Hardscape was able to create a wonderful design and build it exactly as drawn. We received excellent suggestions on materials and colors and the team was good at communicating with us and the builders. We highly recommend Hardscape for your landscaping.

My first time hiring a landscape architect and it was absolutely the right decision for my new villa home. I didn't want a "cookie cutter" plan so I asked Mike to use his creativity to come up with a unique landscape plan....to plant things that he has always want to use. The end result was beautiful and I was delighted with his choices. I cannot say enough about the quality of work done by the three onsite workers. They took pride in their work, worked hard each day and were very pleasant to deal with. The landscape plan really "showcases" my new home. I highly recommend doing business with Mike Brown and his team. You won't be disappointed.

We could not have asked for a better designer than Mike Brown. He was timely, responsive, cheerful, and was of great assistance in designing the perfect patio for us even though it required some creative thinking to fit the patio into the existing landscape. The design called for 900 square feet of pavers, columns, walls, two types of pavers with an imbedded design, a firepit, and a large, curved staircase. He made regular visits during the construction process to make sure things were on track. He also made sure they came in on budget and on time.
