Kayla’s Testimonial: From start to finish Kayla and Hellolove Design was the perfect solution for our stalled-out nursery project. Although the unlikely client for such services, we fully embrace the adage that first you form space, then space forms you. We really wanted a serene inviting space for our daughter’s first months/years of life and realized late in my third trimester that without Kayla it wouldn’t manifest. She took our existing pieces and blurry vision we had for the room and crafted a retreat in perfect timing for us to enjoy as we welcomed Anita to the family. Every time we relax in the antique rocker to nurse, I rest in complete gratitude overlooking the special touches that Kayla infused into our sacred space. From the vintage closet door pulls and handmade floral mobile to the letters displayed from Nita’s grandmother on custom made wood cross-cuts, everything is a perfect blend of sentiment and design to make the space really “speak” to us. Finally, I love Kayla’s balanced sense of style that communicates “feminine” without screaming GIRL and offers flexibility for the room to be transformed with effortlessness as Nita grows older. Kayla did an amazing job of putting my ideas all together to complete an amazing nursery for our little girl. She came while we were in the hospital and had the room ready for us when we came home. It was better than I imagined and such a fun thing to come home to. She gave me lots of options and ideas and we worked together to figure out what I loved and she made the finishing touches to perfect the room!
