Herrick Smith is a well-rounded artist and educator. Herrick is skilled at forming ceramics, primarily, throwing, then firing in a number of kiln types, including computerized gas and electric kilns, soda and wood-firing kilns. Herrick is a master craftsman and focused on excellence. He is deeply interested in conversation and developing relationships that lead to growth in both artistic and personal life. Herrick has skills as a studio technician and has several years of higher education teaching. Herrick is dedicated to his profession, is dependable, knowledgeable and skilled.
