We really enjoyed working with Higgins Building Group. In the beginning we needed help altering our floor plan and Ben Higgins did an amazing job making the floor plan exactly what we wanted. Our house was constructed on a timely schedule, maybe even a little ahead of schedule. Our first meeting after signing the contract was with Kevin, the well driller and the grader. Fortunately, they noticed that some of our oak trees were diseased and told us it would be best to remove them during the grading process. What a huge savings to remove them before the house was built. Their attention to detail was impressive! They are very knowledgeable about residential construction. Kevin kept us abreast of our selections. Their designer kept us on schedule with our selections. What a bonus to have a designer advise us about our selections too. We appreciated her opinion very much. Our overall experience with Higgins Building Group was very positive!

Higgins Building Group did an outstanding job building a lovely home for us at Lake James, NC. They were so easy to work with and kept us well informed throughout the process. They were on time and on budget, which is an amazing feat in this market. I have had so many people tell me how wonderful of a job the builder did on our home. I can't say enough good things about Higgins Building Group. They recently completed ground-up construction of our new home in North Carolina, and we couldn't be more pleased with the process and the results. Ben, Kevin, and Chris completed the project on-time and within budget. It wasn't a basic home build, either. Our lot has a pretty severe slope and is on a lake. Higgins' experience with lakefront homes in the area was essential; there were no delays and no curveballs were thrown due to the nature of the property. Our home design was also different than the typical home builds in the area. Higgins Building Group was able to execute on our plans and unique designs without delay. Their team has continued to be in touch post-build to take care of any punch-list items that inevitably arise with new construction, as well. Higgin's building group did a wonderful job building our home for us. They used quality products and allowed us to fully customize our design to our liking. The team at HBG are incredible. They have built 2 houses for my and my family and both are absolutely perfect. They were completed a head of schedule and under budget! Job site is the cleanest and most organized i have ever seen. I would build another house tomorrow if needed... and Ben and his guys were the one's building it!
