We just closed on our beautiful Highland Home, today. The home is so well built with attention to detail on every aspect of the home. The inside is so clean and nice and the outside is beautiful. They keep you apprised of the build from start to finish. Chuck was our go to guy and was available at all times. I highly recommend Highland Homes.

Highly DO NOT recommend Highland Homes. They are all about making a sale and do not care about their customers. They have a good talk and presentation. Their Build process wasn’t a good or happy one for us. We now have a major structural problem with our “custom built” home and they will not respond to us. Very poor customer service!!

Let me start by saying there is a particular car company’s commercial that’s has a catch phrase at the end of all there commercials “The best or nothing” that is how I would label Highland Homes of Covington, LA. I recently decided to build with Highland after selling my home that was built by a different contractor that I will not name but I will just say there was a HUGE difference in the entire process from start to finish. I would like to say that Jules and Rhonda have mastered the process of custom building a home putting there own great people and subs in place to make sure everything supersede your expectations. From Chuck who handles the location and floor plan process who was very responsive to my emails and very patient with my indecisiveness. To Michelle who not only assists with selections but gives her honest opinions in helping make sure you make the right choices if you are a little unsure helps because let’s be honest sometimes it can seem overwhelming but she does a great job at making it easy. She also loads the schedule into Buildertrend and makes sure everything falls in place when it should. To Scott who makes sure the job is done and done right, which I also can’t stress enough. There are a lot of contractors out there that really build homes and don’t have anyone routinely checking on the process to ale sure there subs are getting things done correctly and I’m not just speaking off my previous experience but spending the time watching many other homes in the Covington Mandeville, Madisonville area. And I can’t forget Carol who answers the phone and greets you with a smile every time you see her and always has a fun story to chat with you about. My custom home building experience has been an awesome one and will continue to love it and will always be a proud to promote and express my gratitude to Highland for there 5 Star triple AAA experience Astounding, Awesome, & Amazing!!!! Well done!

From design to build, Highland Homes was exceptional in making the home building process easy, fun, efficient, and stress free. After months of research and review of contractors within the Northshore area, my wife and I decided to trust Highland Homes with building our new residence in the TerraBella community. Jules, Rhonda, Michelle, Scott, and Chuck were wonderful to work with throughout the entire process. We loved the Buildertrend app; the staff uploaded our selections and we approved each item. Chuck was great in answering all of our questions and helping us making the right decisions. Overall, we couldn't be more satisfied with the quality and efficiency of Highland Homes! I just moved into my home,which was built in a very timely fashion. Their ability to solve problems, made the construction go by with ease. Highland Homes offers the use of a website, "Builder's Trend", which makes everything very clear step by step and you always know where you are. One of the most enjoyable aspects of this company is the ability to have 24/7 contact with their office and I can't say enough about Michelle Charbonnetr's professional help. It's obvious that I will highly recommend this builder.

My Wife and I were able to sit down with Highland Homes and put our dream home on paper , they met every wish we had as if it were their own ! When all was said in done we had the home that we wanted so that our children and grandchildren could come and enjoy our home also . There was nothing that I could or would want to change as our home has become a part of us ! Thank you Highland Homes !!!!!

We lived in our prior house which dated from the early 1900s for 30+ years. We never dreamed we would be comfortable building a new house! Jules and Rhonda worked with us extensively in the design and build process. We built a traditional center hall cottage which somehow feels incredibly open while combining all the style points of an old New Orleans home. Every interaction with Highland Homes was professional and they created exactly the home we dreamed of. We thank ourselves every day for finding Highland Homes.

We live in a beautifully designed Highland Homes spec house, and we are grateful to have found it. We were originally planning on building a home through them (as we were relocating to Louisiana from Texas), but we were lucky to find and move right into one of their newly built homes that feels as if it were a custom home. It had all the special touches we couldn’t find with any other home on the market. Their attention to detail and immaculate taste is evident throughout the house. Jules and Rhonda Guidry are a delight to work with, and both they and their staff continually go the extra mile in providing excellent customer service. Always friendly, responsive, and professional. As our family grows, we would love to build our next home with them as well!

Built a 1600sqft cottage for us that most builders said couldn't be done for an appropriate dollars/foot. Hit it out of the park! Been in the house for about a month and continue to be impressed with the solid construction and the craftsmanship. Details are excellent and what is usually lacking these days. From the framing to the cabinets to the painting the quality of work has been beyond our expectations and this is our 8th house and not our first build. To that point, the construction was steady and smooth without any of the nightmares you hear about or that we have experienced with other builders. And the allowances and tenets of the contract allowed us better quality than we had hoped for and still the opportunity to come in underbudget. We went in with a concept, Highland Homes developed it down to the smallest detail and completed the project ahead of schedule! Wish I had used them before!

We highly recommend Jules, Rhonda and the team at Highland Homes. Our research led us to Highland Homes and having gone through the building process numerous times our expectations were high. Unfortunately all home builders are not equal. Experience and positive feedback from an array past clients having built with Highland Homes and subsequent meetings made the decision easy. Each step in the process from design and final walk was clear, consice, professional, personable and remarkably stress free and enjoyable. Our expectations were met and exceeded. We enjoy our home everyday.

The company was very professional and sincerely helpful from the very first meeting. Starting with the architecture, through the choosing outside structure and inside amenities, into the construction and the final inspection, everything went smoothly with little or no problems. We were totally satisfied with the work. We have and will recommend Mr. and Mrs. Guidry to everyone contemplating building their own home.

I highly recommend Highland Homes for a new home. From plan design through construction, the entire Team of Professionals were excellent to work with. They even provided us with our own convenient web page to keep up with our project online. From making finish selections to viewing my construction progress, every about my project was available online. I have built 5 homes around the country and by far Highland Homes excelled. Quality of design, construction, and finish, as well as my experience with them were all first class. Highland Homes exceeded all my expectations and I would recommend you use them for your next new home.
