We like working with Heather Johnston from Place Architect. She is a skilled professional with a keen eye for good design and detail. Heather's ability to understand family and lifestyle is a big asset to her project contributions. Communication flows easily. Heather has also taken the time to learn about integrating timber frame into her work, along with energy-efficient pre-fab wall and roof systems.

Heather Johnston was hired by me to do plans for inside upper level of my home that included a kitchen and the exterior facade. Heather undoubtedly transformed my home from a seventies mid century home to a contemporary version. I am thrilled with the result. She is a tremendous professional. She is a good listener and took all my needs and wants into account. She worked with me rather than dictating but challenged me when necessary. She worked well with the construction company hired (whom she recommended) and was able to make sure the work was done to the highest standard within our modest budget. I have to give a lot of kudos to her for how my house looks today. There is so much change that persons walk by our home and do not recognize it . Yet she only changed the facade.
