Holland Pools and Spas

We had a pool/spa built by Holland as part of our house build, and I would not use Holland again or recommend them. It was a bad experience, the build quality is poor, communication was terrible, and attempts to reach them to resolve outstanding issues go unanswered. In fact, we have engaged another contractor to fix issues that remain. Do yourself a favor and find another pool contractor. UPDATE: After this review was posted, I was contacted by leadership at Holland Pools, and they worked quickly to address all my open issues. I am now satisfied with the outcome, though it's unfortunate I had to go to this length to get their attention.

WARNING!!! DO NOT let Holland Pools install your pool heater!! After less than 4 years our Jandy heater was completely rusted through. Several pool service techs said this was caused by Holland pools failing to install a check valve. By not doing this (AS INSTRUCTED IN THE JANDY INSTALLATION MANUAL) salt water was able to back flow into our heater and rust the internal components. Upon contacting Holland Pools we were told "WE NEVER INSTALL CHECK VALVES". We were able to have Pinch A Penny install a new Jandy heater (and check valve) at a cost to us over $4,500! Holland Pools again showing their poor quality of installation and customer service!
