House Envy Interiors

House Envy Interior has a Registered Interior Designer on staff with the Interior Designers Association of Saskatchewan. Christy is in good standing and has met all the qualifications to use the title Interior Designer in Saskatchewan.

Christy comes into the Floors by Design flooring showroom in Regina often with her clients. There is always such a positive atmosphere when she is around! It is great to see an interior designer put her clients first, and make projects fun and enjoyable for everyone involved.

Magnificent Kitchens likes working with Christy because she has the ability to colour coordinate our kitchen and bathroom renovation jobs into showroom quality. We use our customer homes, as showrooms, to provide word of mouth advertising for future work.

Christy Dunbar of House Envy Interiors listened to our wants and delivered tile , fixture and color suggestions quickly, efficiently . We were impressed.

I hired Christy from House Envy to design my commercial kitchen. Dealing with our city zoning laws was not easy and Christy was amazing at making the many changes needed for us to comply and get approved. Not only did our plans get approved, I have an extremely functional space that is open, light and a dream to work in. I would highly recommend her for any project and already have her working on my expansion designs.

Christy has assisted me with a home renovation in 2014 as well as a complete design for our new office in 2015. Christy was very pleasant and professional to work with, took ample time to understand our needs and was very helpful in working through a number of design iterations, always open to considering new options and explaining their advantages and disadvantages. She has a strong knowledge of the office and home design field, was always punctual and meet deadlines and budget. I enjoyed working with Christy and would recommend her to others.

I was provided a vision board and once that was approved Christy did all the work finding everything that was needed to compete the design . So easy, she would text me pictures of the items she had in my mind and all I needed to do was say yes or no!

We hired Christy to choose a paint color and backsplash and style the kitchen, dining, living room and entrance of our house. We had lived in our house for 5 years, without doing any decorating at all. It was so boring and did not feel like home. After meeting with Christy, she helped us set a budget, and made an inspiration board and furniture layout so we could envision what it was going to look like. She worked very hard to make sure we were happy with everything. With 3 young kids, I didn't think that we could have such a beautiful, functional, cozy space. The result was amazing! We are so happy with how everything turned out and are looking forward to working with Christy again!

From our initial meeting, House Envy Interiors understood both our project needs and really seemed to get “us” and our style. Christy reviewed the budget for our mudroom/bathroom addition and flagged from the start where we would be able to save money and where we might need to spend a little more and once we allocated a budget for her services she stuck to it! Christy exceeded our expectations and had selections and finish lists prepared for us well in advance of our contractor even asking for them - certainly helping expedite the process for when the renovation took place. She took the worry out of any decision-making and we had confidence knowing that all of the selections she made would work together resulting in a beautiful and functional space. Then to the styling – wow! Again Christy picked the perfect pieces to fill the space and magically in an afternoon transformed the blank space - making it feel warm, friendly and ours! She looked after all of the details big and small – coffee table to cabinet hardware. We are in love with our space! Thanks House Envy!
