Huntwood Custom Cabinets

We were refer to Huntwood Cabinets by our Contractor. He had done business there in the past. He referred us to Nicki Hunnel. We were remodeling a small kitchen, not a bit deal but Nicki made us feel like it was a big deal. She listened to our thoughts, made suggestions, drafted everything out by hand to start and came to our home and measured. We had Huntwood install the Cabinets. The two gentlemen that came out were very skilled at their art. Meticulously measured and installed the Cabinets to perfection. The Cabinets we chose are very good quality and backed up by an excellent warranty. Thank you Huntwood!

A great company to work with,. Staff is always ready to help you out! I needed to have additional shelves made, replacement of "hush pad" door bumpers that our painter lost and replacement false front supports as a couple of ours cracked. These items are manufactured by Huntwood and nowhere else are they available to assure a perfect fit! Hats off to the entire customer service team!!!

Jim Steward from the Lakewood location came to our house and aligned the cabinets perfectly. We are very thankful for Jim’s customer service and professionalism. He did an excellent job. We absolutely love the quality of Huntwood cabinets and trusted them again for our bathroom remodel. We have Huntwood cabinets throughout our entire house, and even our oldest cabinets (over 12 years old) still work like champs. These are not low-quality import cabinets — the craftsmanship and durability really show. Highly recommend!

The installation and delivery dates were as schedule. 10 out of 10

We had a deeply disappointing experience with Huntwood Custom Cabinets during our kitchen remodel in Vail, CO. What was supposed to be a smooth, custom process has turned into a months-long ordeal. Our initial order arrived with cabinet pieces in three completely different stains—only a few matched the color we had approved. For a company that specializes in custom cabinetry, such an error was hard to understand. Unfortunately, the bigger issue has been Huntwood’s lack of accountability and extremely poor communication. When we contacted the company, it was nearly impossible to reach anyone who could help. Calls were passed from one person to the next, and it took nearly three weeks before anyone provided an initial response. When a representative finally visited the site, they initially suggested the color mismatch was due to “natural wood variation,” an explanation that did not hold up when the panels were placed side by side. Huntwood ultimately agreed to replace some of the cabinets, but the replacement shipment still contained visibly mismatched pieces. We are now awaiting a third delivery, though confidence in a full resolution is low. To compound the issue, Huntwood maintains that several components with obvious color discrepancies are “within tolerance.” Ordering custom cabinet parts piecemeal is never advisable, as receiving the entire order together ensures the best possible consistency in wood grain and color. Unfortunately, Huntwood has only agreed to replace certain discolored sections, leaving trim pieces that are noticeably off-shade from the rest. As a result, our project has been delayed by more than three months from this alone, our contractor has had to redo multiple installations, we remain displaced from our home, and ultimately our cabinets are not what we ordered nor are they representative of the price paid. For the price and expectations that come with a “custom” cabinet order, the quality control and customer service have been unacceptable. We have provided Huntwood with multiple opportunities to resolve the issue; however, they have declined to take responsibility. I would strongly urge others to consider a different company before choosing Huntwood.

Vicente (Sensitive Information Hidden) did a beautiful job installing our 8 pullouts in our island cabinets. We are so very happy with the pullouts and professional installation!

Huntwood cabinet technician came today and did an amazing job. We’re lining and adjusting drawers and doors. It was amazing. His name was Vicente Solis , he was fast efficient and wonderful. Thank you for a great job. Thomas Kelley .
