INSPIRED KITCHEN DESIGN

Inspired Kitchen Design (IKD) was instrumental in helping us turn our old garage into a light and bright family room / home office / laundry room. First we looked at their site to get ideas for our renovation based on all of their case studies and photos. Then, for a very nominal fee, they took our measurements /specs and created detailed renderings showing the room layout for our review and approval. Once we approved the layout, IKD created a very realistic rendering of our space based on the specific IKEA cabinets/HW we had initially chosen. This step was critical: seeing IKD's realistic rendering made us realize we needed a different cabinet color/style to fulfill our vision for the space. IKD quickly updated the rendering to show our new cabinet/HW choice - which allowed us to see/confirm our new choices were the right look. Had we not worked with IKD (and just used IKEA's online tools) we would never have been able to realistically "see" what our space would look like. Plus they generate a list of IKEA parts you need to purchase. Working with Inspired Kitchen Design was the best money we ever spent! We highly recommend Inspired Kitchen Design!

We worked with Inspired Kitchen Design (IKD) to create a design for our laundry room. The designer (Florence M) was fantastic! She worked with us to plan around removing a soffit, accommodating an existing laundry chute, and adding all of our desired features for the room. IKD provided detailed diagrams and order sheets that made working with IKEA for the boxes and Semihandmade for the doors easy tasks, as well as simplifying the installation. The design process was painless. We absolutely love the space and are planning to work with IKD for designs for our home office.

We had an excellent experience working with Inspired Kitchen Design on two projects. We had hired a contractor who could 'do whatever we wanted' in the space, but found ourselves quickly overwhelmed when reviewing options on the Ikea website. IKD provided that bridge, helping us to best utilize the space available for a laundry and closet project. Because they understand the standard dimensions and sizes available for cabinetry, they were quickly able to turn a rough sketch into a workable techinical design. They were active partners in considering adjustments and changes to make to best fit the space. They made some additional helpful recommendations to use supplemental companies (like rev-a-trak) to make the most of the organizeable space. Highly recommend.

Honestly, this couldn't have been any easier - especially during a stressful post-flood renovation. All information on the IKD website was clear, simple and easy to access. I knew exactly what I was signing up for, how much it was going to cost, and every step from start to finish. What drew me in was their experience with and knowledge of the IKEA cabinet systems. The team knew what “extra” pieces are needed behind the scenes to ensure flawless installation, so having them build my shopping cart was invaluable. They also knew various product options I could use to bring my concepts to life (hidden drawers within drawers, lighting throughout, etc.). Leveraging this service helped me avoid a LOT of rookie mistakes. Florence, my designer, was so easy to work with throughout the process. After submitting measurements and design inspiration, I was able to do a few rounds of revisions until it was all finalized. Turnaround time was fast, efficient and thorough. Meanwhile the final design renderings were priceless. I had them printed and posted in the rooms so that my contractors and their installation crews always had visuals for reference during installation to ensure everyone was on the same page. Love the final results and can't wait to start the next project!

I wanted to take a moment to thank INSPIRED KITCHEN DESIGN for the incredible work on our project. They’ve been so understanding, thoughtful, attentive, and patient throughout the process, even with all my non-standard requests. I do not even know where to start. The project started with my ideas about what we wanted and what we did not. We wanted a very unusual kitchen layout with a non-standard size kitchen island, a combination of panels from 2 different vendors, a built-in place for the dogs’ bowls, and on top of that, making it out of standard IKEA cabinets. Nevertheless, I was ready to give up because I could not imagine that it was even possible to combine all our requirements. Florence is truly a gem; she was going above and beyond trying to accommodate everything, and she was able to deliver. During the design process, I always felt she wants—really wants—to make me happy with the design. She was not fussing over me, giving me space to think; she was suggesting but not pushing; she made me feel special. At the end of the day, the design that we got was even better than I was imagining. Everything is in place, and it looks incredible and very ergonomic at the same time. Their professionalism truly stood out, and it was such a pleasure collaborating with them.

I had a fantastic experience with Inspired Kitchen Design! After my dishwasher leaked through my base cabinets, floor and subfloor, I had to decide to repair or renovate. With Inspired Kitchen Design on my side I was confident I could use this opportunity to renovate and update my kitchen. I came to IKD with a general idea and they created an awesome design! After working with them I realized if I had attempted to design a kitchen on my own I would have been in for a horrible, nightmare of an installation experience. IKD's attention to detail is amazing and their experience with kitchen design and IKEA products shows. IKD was even able to "hack" together a corner cabinet for me which added a ton of seating and countertop space in my kitchen. I followed their design plans and the installation was so easy! Everything fit together perfectly and the layout and flow of my kitchen is so much better than before. All in all I would absolutely work with IKD in the future. I got a TON of value out of their consultation, design, and drawings. They upgraded my kitchen and made it so easy to install. Thank you IKD :)

IKD helped us with our design layout for our Ikea/Semi-handmade kitchen. We are happy with the quality of Ikea cabinets and Semi-handmade fronts and the design we came up with together with IKD. I made several changes over the course of the design process and had lots of questions and they were great at helping me throughout the process. I estimate I saved half of what I would've spent for custom cabinetry. I also learned so much in the process. Overall, we are happy with our experience with Inspired Kitchen Design. Florence and her designers created an Ikea pantry/mudroom design for me that was exactly what I was looking for. Florence was very patient with my questions. It was thrilling to see the 3D rendering of the small pantry in color. It would have taken me countless hours (if even possible) to do this on my own. It was money well spent. Do not hesitate to hire Inspired Kitchen Design.

My husband and I had played around with our own IKEA kitchen designs on the IKEA kitchen planner but found some aspects of it be confusing. We figured if we were looking at spending that much money on a remodel that it would be worth it to consult a professional with much more experience. IKD did not disappoint! They looked at our existing designs and made huge improvements and recommendations for Rev-A-Shelf products that would give our room an even more custom look and functionality. It gave us great peace of mind to know that we would have the required clearances for door and drawer openings as well as the large appliances. IKD specified all the drawer sizes (there were WAY too many options for us to sort through and we wanted almost all drawers rather than doors) and inner drawers in appropriate locations. The drawings and plans they provided were invaluable as we proceeded to assemble the kitchen. Our room turned out even better than we expected! If we ever do a remodel at a future house, we would definitely use IKD again. The service they provide is well worth the fee charged.

We had an incredible experience with Florence! Posting before and after pics of our kitchen. Got a suggestion to try IKEA cabinets and they didn't not disappoint. High quality and beautiful. We decided to use IKD and what a wonderful decsion. Design was amazing and all the parts were ready to go when we ordered from IKEA! Will def use again!
