Imbue Design

I searched high and low for architects in southern Utah with a simple and modern aesthetic. No luck whatsoever, until I cast my search a bit wider, including Salt Lake City and Phoenix/Tucson. After perusing their website, Imbue Design won me over with their forms and sensibility. I had an amazing collaborative experience with them brainstorming and creating our 1900 square foot custom home just outside Zion National Park. After soaking in our site for an entire afternoon and following morning and understanding our wish list, Chris, Hunter and Matt each presented a distinct design concept several weeks later. I was very impressed with each design and ultimately chose design #3. With utmost patience, knowing that I'm a wannabe architect, Team Imbue treated me as a fourth partner as we tweaked and polished the design. The home is now complete and I am on cloud 9; I could not be more pleased. Throughout the process, Chris, Hunter and Matt were amiable, creative, pragmatic and efficient. I recommend Imbue Design as highly and enthusiastically as *any* firm that I have ever worked with!

We first met team imbue in 2014 when we wanted to build a wine cellar in a home we purchased in Utah. From the initial meeting, we were comforted knowing we would be in good hands. They are the most professional, meticulous, organized, thorough people we have worked with. They alleviated all of the stress that typically is associated with construction projects by being well informed and involved throughout the project in its entirety. Our first project with them involved a tremendous amount of detail work and a lot of problem solving (e.g. creating a functional and aesthetically pleasing wine display storage system on panels that could support a substantial amount of weight, determining proper system and lining for bottle support, etc.). We were impressed by their transparency throughout the entire process and involvement in the generation of solutions. Further, if any issues arose during construction, they kept us abreast of the situations and offered solutions/dealt with the difficulties for us with class. They are so thoughtful in their design and are so dedicated to their projects to ensure seamless transitions during the various stages of a project (e.g. design, construction, completion). We are so thankful to have worked with them on that initial project, given their superlative work, and will remain committed to them on any future projects. We just recently completed our third project with them and they make the process so enjoyable that, as exciting as it is to have a project completed, it brings some sadness knowing that our work with them on said project comes to an end. The aforesaid project (a condo in San Francisco) was a tremendous success that was attributable to their level of devotion to the project and scrupulous nature. At the time, we interviewed other architects in San Francisco and decided that we'd rather incur additional expenses and frequently fly them out than work with anyone else. They really are that good.

Discovered Imbue online as I have an ongoing mid century modern remodel and was attracted to their new build in the desert - client was a meditation retreat center I believe. Found them to be extremely helpful. My current project was already designed but they still referred me to a skilled professional. I won't hesitate to use Imbue going forward for my next project and for my clients.

Imbue Design is a full service Design firm specializing in unique, modern, and well designed homes. Matt, Talvey and Hunter work in concert together to create an masterpiece of every home. As a builder I have come to appreciate their willingness to meet on site, work through different ideas and thoughtfully come up with construction details. Everything from big picture design, sun angles, energy efficiency and the way people live in their home has been thought of. I give the highest recommendation for Imbue Design!
