imbuia construction completely rebuilt and added to our home. i’m addition they came back and built a new pool with new grade and exterior front and rear yard. We enjoyed the process and were involved in all decision making. we felt like a part of a team and had the ability to be involved every step of the way knowing where our budget was being spent. we now enjoy the finish product and thank Warren and his team for creating and caring.

There are many great qualifications that Warren and team will bring to your projects. Warren has a wide network of subcontractors, many of whom genuinely respect and like working with him. You'll soon realize that so much of building progress hinges on good relationships. 90% of the subcontractors that ended up on our project were great, trustworthy people with great execution, you name it: framing, sheet metal, glass, cabinetry - stand-up people. There were a couple subs that we would not recommend like our plumbers and our initial foundation guy. But Warren worked with us to get the less-than-ideal sub off of our project, as well as push other subs to perform. Also, Warren has a great eye for detail and a high level of taste for the quality of work that is produced. You will not get shoddy work. And this was essential since this was our home, not a flip. Lastly, Warren is a very kind and honest person. I mean, when was the last time you heard someone say that about their GC?

We worked with Imbuia Constrcution on a new, Modern style, Ground-up residence in Culver City for which we were the Architect. The scope of work was very specific and Warren and his team always asked the right questions and made sure that everything was built per the drawings and design direction. We have worked with a number of contractors and they really went above and beyond. They were not only very cordial, friendly and easy to work with, they were always there with a discerning eye and attention to detail. We whole heartedly recommend the team at Imbuia Constrcution for any building project and we are excited to continue to work with them on future projects.

Warren of Imbuia Construction was hired to help design and complete a major remodeling of a mid-1960's condo in one of the tall "Wilshire Corridor" buildings. He did an excellent job for this difficult project due to the age of the building, lack of drywall, up to date electrical wiring, time constraints, etc. He was responsive, his pricing was fair and he was easy to work with since we had to make a number of changes and adjustments along the way. I highly recommend Imbuia Construction.

We worked with Warren of Imbuia Construction Inc for both a small upgrade and then a major remodel a few years later. Warren was very accessible, and willing to work with us on cost and letting us do the finishes where we wanted to, which we really appreciated. His main crew were all really professional and friendly, and we were always very comfortable having them around the house. Over a year after completion of the major remodel, we found an issue with the work of one of the subcontractors, and Warren was really excellent about contacting the subcontractor and coming back and getting everything repaired in a timely manner.

Mr. Warren Bregman of Imbuia Construction, Inc. built a new bathroom (large shower, toilet, freeststanding tub, niches), bathroom foyer (long double sink vanity, cabinet) and walk-in closet out of existing space, about 40' x 11'. An adjoining study, adjoining master bedroom and downstairs dining room became heavily involved because of necessary remediation of foundation, beams, joists and insulation. New hardwood floors were laid to match floors originally laid in 1940's. New double-paned windows were installed to match existing windows. To minimize disturbance to my resident 97 year old mother, Warren devised a way for his crews and materials to enter and leave the house from the side yard and the second-storey windows via scaffolding with stairs. The doorways leading from the construction area to the rest of the house were sealed off. During the seven-month project, we were comfortably and safely insulated from the traffic, noise and dust. Warren wasted no time and worked diligently to coordinate stages of the work as seamlessly and expeditiously as possible. We did not ever have to be concerned if progress was being made or not. When a problem arose, Warren was thoughtful and creative about finding a solution. He did not hesitate in consulting the architect, the engineer, the suppliers or sub-contractors for the best answers. He was quick to respond to our questions and concerns. He did what he said he would, always pleasant, always positive. Warren came to the site almost everyday. He treated his crews well and with respect. They reciprocated with respect and excellent workmanship.

Warren and Imbuia did a fantastic job building our home. Warren is professional, responsible, responsive, honest and meticulous. He truly cares about the quality of his work, and it shows in the end results.
