I can't say enough about how grateful I am to have found Patti Wilder to help me with the designing and planning of our addition/remodel. She is easy to work with and has great ideas but does not push anything I am not interested in (a problem I have had with past designer/architects). Patti has gone above and beyond what I expected by helping me find materials as well as subcontractors when by builder fell short. She is always a phone call or email away when I need her help and checks in with me to make sure things are proceeding. I don't have pictures yet but will add them when the project is completed.

We worked closely with Patti to create an addition to our house. She took the time to find out our individual tastes and hopes for the space, then included those details in the design in a way that fit our budget. It was a pleasure to work with her and we LOVE the addition!

I have worked with a lot of architects, Patti is one of the ones that I consistently recommend. There are a lot of architects that can design good looking buildings and homes, but Patti is one of the few that can accomplish this and stay on track with the owner's budget. I have worked with Patti on dozens of jobs with budgets from $50,000 to $2.5m, her attention to detail and aesthetic is consistent no matter the size of the job. We worked with Patti Wilder Dallarosa, at Wilder Architecture & Planning, P.C., to design an accessory building to our home that incorporated a greenhouse, two car garage, and a studio. Because we live in a 100 year old home in a historic neighborhood, it was especially important to us that the new building look as if it had been built at the same time as our house, and that it match as many of the historic architectural details as possible. Patti was simply fabulous to work with on this project. She spent the time we needed to get to know us and to understand our expectations for both character and the functionality of the building. Once she had her first concept drawings, we met to fine tune, and then finalize, the design. Patti delivered on time, and on our budget [Note that the project cost category selected below represents the estimate for both the architectural plans from Patti and the cost of building the project]. What we also appreciated about working with Patti was that she is well connected with excellent builders and engineers – and we ended up working with people she recommended to build the project she designed. She also was available throughout the construction to consult with the builders when they had questions about the design. We ended up with a truly beautiful building that complements our house, and fits in perfectly in the neighborhood. Our neighbors also have told us how much they appreciate that it looks like the building has always been here. Plus the spaces – the green house and studio and, of course, the garage – function perfectly for the job they were designed to do. We have already recommended Patti to friends and colleagues, and we will definitely use her services in the future.

We used Wilder Architecture & Planning, P.C. to design our house in Santa Fe, New Mexico. The home is designed in the adobe home fashion complete with flat roof, vigas, niches, high ceilings and plaster walls, which is a bit different from house types in Colorado. Despite the long distance challenge Wilder did an excellent job working with Las Campanas HOA Design Board representatives and designing the house to meet the strict requirements of the area. Wilder was in constant contact with the contractor both before and during construction. This was extremely beneficial in completing construction on schedule and without issues from the Design Board. Wilder was also very helpful with both exterior design palette and interior design choices such as flooring, countertops, cabinets and fixtures.
