Goes out of his way to get you what you want, unless it’s a bad idea(: We closed on our house over 2 years ago and he still responds same day to any questions I have about the house. My husband and I had the pleasure of meeting and working with Kevin Merrit, of Innovation Luxury Homes, over the past two years while building our dream home. We approached Kevin with a picture of a home we loved and a budget. He found the architect of the home and helped us to make a few modifications to make it perfect. As the building process unfolded he had an eye for things we did not. He made many recommendations along the way that were very beneficial to us. For example, the stone archway leading up to the front porch was going be lower than our 9" front door. He had the mason change it, as the job was in process, and raise it above the door for a cosmetically better look. He opened an area on the back porch roof, that was closed on the plans, in order to allow us a better view from inside the house. He always took the time to explain everything. The home was ready for move in right at the time he estimated and we actually came in a little under buget. We moved in December 23rd and a few days later had a hard freeze. We have a well with a tank and pump that Kevin knew we had not had time to cover yet. I got a text early that morning, it was in the low twenties, that read "I am outside insulating your well pump so you don't have to worry about it freezing and having no water". We had already closed....he was paid...and in no way obligated to even consider helping with that. Who does that anymore? Kevin has some qualities that are hard to come by these days: honesty, integrity, and good quality workmanship.Thank you Kevin for helping to make our dream come true. We had been looking to build in the area for more than a year when we came across Innovation Luxury Homes. We reached out to Kevin, the owner, and he immediately called us back. Throughout the entire build, and even after we moved in, Kevin was always quick to return calls and or emails. (That's a hard find these days!) Kevin involved us in every aspect of the build, being very flexible with changes we requested, staying within our budget and timeline. A few minor problems arouse after we moved in, such as debris in the water line of one of the bathrooms, a kitchen drawer hinge not working properly, nothing major. Kevin quickly made the calls to his subcontractors to get things fixed. Then to our surprise, after we had been in the house a little over a year, Kevin wanted to do another walk through to see if anything else needed to be taken care of. He noticed a couple of cracks in the drywall where the house had settled and had someone come caulk and paint it, had a granite chip fixed and hard water stain cleaned off our metal roof. We found that even after a year, Kevin and Innovation Luxury Homes was just as professional and detailed oriented as the day we became involved with them. Kevin is a true, hard working, caring professional home builder and we are so happy to have found him. Our house is definitely the envy of the neighborhood!

Innovation Luxury Homes really did build our dream home. Kevin Merritt found us a set of plans and advised us as we made several changes. He then utilized an interactive software to prepare a detailed cost estimate. This software continued to provide us with up to date progress reports on construction as well as the costs. No unwelcome surprises. Kevin was onsite daily and had excellent sub-contractors. Everyone involved in the home took pride in their part. Kevin was quick to answer any questions and ready for any last minute changes. It was exciting to watch as the construction site progressed into our home. We always felt that Kevin wanted this home to be perfect for us. It was completed on time and within budget.
