I worked with Steve Edick directly on our project. We bought a newly constructed home in Auburn last June. Steve did a significant amount of work for us including screening in our rear porch, hanging a couple of televisions and adding a few electrical outlets. The porch looks fantastic and all of the work that Steve and his team did for us was always done professionally and with care and attention to our needs. Job Description: enclosed porch to dining room conversion. This job was completed in a timely and professional manner. Steve was clear and accurate with his estimate and followed through on the agreed plan. When I suggested additional work be added to the project and Steve provided a revised timeline / estimate and when the material costs came in below his estimate he reduced the actual costs. My experience with ID&R was positive and I plan on doing more business with them in the future.

Steve at Intelligent Design was great from start to finish! Replaced an exterior door for us and went above a beyond to make sure everything was installed properly but also refinished all the trim and weather proofed everything! Great job!!

I had an incredibly AWESOME experience working with Steve, owner of Intelligent Design & Renovation. I have done many renovations and this one by far was the BEST!! Steve is very professional, communicates timely, and pays attention to detail. He made recommendations for things that I would not have thought of. Steve showed up when he said he would and he was conscientious of the schedule of my son and his roommates, who were living in the property. I would definitely hire Steve again, and if he is busy with other jobs, he is worth waiting on to have him complete a job. Steve did an absolute fabulous job on replacing light fixtures, ceiling fans and the many extra stuff I asked him to do in the Auburn condo. Living in Birmingham, Steve went over and beyond on helping me get everything I needed done. When we realized I needed new ceiling fans he went to Home Depot to pick them up for me so I would not have to drive to Auburn. I could not have asked for a better person to do this work. He is very trustworthy. I am blessed to have come across a person that is honest and does what he says he is going to do. I would highly recommend Steve to anyone!!

When I purchased a home in Auburn, AL for my college age daughters, I needed someone that could handle all home repair & renovation needs. I also needed someone that was very professional, prompt, and trustworthy. Steve is that man. He has given me the piece of mind of knowing that my house is well cared for when I am 200 miles away.
