About Us

West Hartford Area's Innovative Architecture & Design Firm
I am a quiet, thoughtful person. After graduating from Syracuse University in 1978, I had the fantastic opportunity to study in Italy and tour Europe. Upon returning home, I began working for a number of small, medium and large architectural firms on a wide variety of projects. I've worked on everything from small residential additions to billion dollar mixed use urban projects. In 1995 I started my own firm as a sole practitioner, originally in Hartford and now at 8 Bishop Road in West Hartford where I live with my beautiful family. I work on a few projects every year which include new custom residential work, boutique retail and small commercial projects.

He was quick to respond and adjust to our changing needs as this project morphed throughout the design phase. His drawings and detail were well received by the contractors providing bids. We hired Joe Buchek as our architect in a restaurant buildout. He was very professional and got the job done quickly. We got the prints submitted and permitted on schedule. Will definitely recommend him for Comercial and residential projects. He is very reasonable priced.
