Space Reimagined

Jackie is wonderful--incredibly professional and responsive. She is fantastic to work with and ensures all work done is of the highest quality. She facilitated the remodel of our kitchen and it turned out beautiful.

We just completed our second remodel project with Jackie at Space Reimagined. Two years ago she managed our kitchen remodel so well that we did not hesitate to hire her again. This time she took on our master bathroom as a total remodel. This project was a challenge. I am so grateful she was on top of the project; managed the budget, schedule, contractors and issues to resolution. Our bathroom turned out sooooo nice. She is easy to work with, creative, a good sounding board and makes great recommendations. She has great contacts, knows the contractors and suppliers. We could not have done this as well without her. If you are wondering if she is right for you, we give her a resounding two thumbs up!!

My partner and I were stalled out on a renovation of our living room. Destruction was easy and something we agreed on, but construction--not so much. Jackie and her team of trade professionals took us to the finish line with skill and professionalism. The reason for our project was the gaping holes left in our walls after dismantling the fireplace, a clunky 1980's pinewood monstrosity that dated our home's interior. The scope of our project was open ended and Jackie helped us to define the project to suit our budget while also taking full advantage of the various trade professionals that would be needed for the renovation. With Jackie's guidance, the orientation of the room turned 180 degrees to face outward with new canned lighting, drywall, painting, floor repair, custom cabinetry and new fireplace/mantel installation. My partner selected an unusual, water vapor fireplace that required special heaters; Jackie dove right in to the specifications for these units and made sure that the surrounding design and materials complimented his choice and allowed for maintenance access. Jackie recommended customized bench seating/storage on either side of the fireplace and floating mantle to house (and hide) the heaters, creating space and functionality. Jackie also suggested we paint our exposed wood ceiling to open up our space and create more light; Space Reimagined, indeed! Work was completed in a timely manner, on budget and during COVID! I highly recommend Space Reimagined.

Our full kitchen, dining room and bathroom remodel has been completed on our 1927 home! We chose Jackie at Space Reimagined to assist with this daunting project, and its success is due to her professional expertise in all aspects of the process. She guided us through choosing contractors with proven track records, many of which she has worked with on previous projects. She assisted us with shopping for flooring, tile, cabinets, counter tops, fixtures and appliances. She offered many suggestions with our personal tastes in mind, which proved invaluable for us to make these upgrades while preserving the original character of the home. Jackie coordinated all contractors’ work schedules and any inspection appointments. Communication was key and she was always available to answer my questions or take them to the contractors when necessary. She made sure the work was done right and on schedule. We could not have attempted this major remodel without her.

Our master bathroom remodel turned out amazing. We started with two small spaces and transformed them into one much larger master bath. Space Reimagined managed the entire project flawlessly and the work was complete within 7 days. The contractors were professional and tidy, and Space Reimagined was extremely helpful in making both technical and design decisions. Thank you!

Our kitchen/great-room was dark, worn and needed an update. We had a budget, needed ideas and contractors and didn't have time to invest in the project ourselves and a small window of time before we needed to move in. Jackie to the rescue! She asked the right questions to establish the scope and budget, then, advised on colors, provided brick and mortar and online shopping sites, and advised on purchases. She negotiated and managed the deliveries, painters, electricians, dry wallers and craftsman to keep them on task with quality and schedule. She made sure all finishing details were to her high standards. We couldn't have been happier with the project and, after months of living in our new home, we wouldn't have changed a thing. We are selling a floating home in an upscale floating home community. We had Jackie come in and stage our home . It was amazing how modern our home looks with the furniture and accessories that Jackie picked out. My wife wanted to move back in with the new look. I hired Jackie to help me remodel my kitchen which is now beautiful and functional. She has a good eye for interior design, shopped with me to pick out a countertop, cabinets, wood flooring, and fireplace tile. She has connections with remodeling contractors, and coordinated the schedule. The project was on target with cost and schedule, and went quite smoothly. Jackie has a great relationship with the contractors and was firm with them about fixing things if it wasn't done to my liking. Jackie is very professional, organized, on time, and communicates exceptionally well. She always put me at ease when I got stressed out. I couldn't have done it without her! Thanks Jackie!

We highly recommend Jackie Draper with Space Reimagined, she is such a delight to work with! We now have stunning quartz counters, a gorgeous backsplash, new gas cooktop on our island, new sinks and great under counter lighting. The design works brilliantly with our northwest/Asian home. We had wanted our kitchen remodeled for several years and worked with a couple designers and contractors but we never felt comfortable going forward due to them being pushy and over- priced. We are so grateful for Jackie, if it hadn’t been for her giving us a gentle nudge along the way we probably would not be here enjoying our perfect kitchen! It was important when we started the project that it be finished by Thanksgiving and of course she made it happen! Planning and construction was over a period of 6 weeks, the actual construction lasted about 10 days. Due to one member of our family having health issues we did not leave during the construction, surprisingly it was not hectic, they were very respectful, organized, on schedule and polite while in our home. Jackie was on site during most of the construction in case of any issues that might arise, she works well with subcontractors and has access to great craftsmen. Jackie is so much fun to work with, high energy, a great problem solver, very organized, a good listener, patient, respectful, very resourceful, available, flexible, professional and has great attention to detail. Jackie Draper, owner of Space Reimagined, is a polished professional. Initial phone contact convinced me that she was the right person to stage my condo. Jackie communicates her experience, vision, and available resources clearly, thoroughly, and with the right touch of humor. Upon viewing the condo, Jackie took copious notes and asked if I wanted her frank input: "Upgrades are needed here!" Intuitively I knew this but had been too daunted to attempt such a project on my own. I proceeded to hire Jackie to manage the entire project: interviewing contractors…sourcing/procuring materials… supervising from demo through construction with her keen eyes…encouraging my involvement to save time and $$…all the way to her artistic staging. Jackie drives a project with remarkable swiftness but does not sacrifice her standards of excellence and knowledgeable attention to detail; the project took 3.5 weeks and that included an entire kitchen remodel. I envisioned a Coastal Lifestyle and Jackie surpassed my expectations. I was almost ready to move back in to a like-new home with cool flooring, fresh paint, improved lighting, new appliances! While the condo had been on the market for 2 months without a glimmer of interest, Jackie’s professional hand turned this around. I had a serious offer within two weeks of having my Space Reimagined! I am updating this review since Jackie just completed a second remodel project for me. My first project in the fall of 2017 was to install a new linear fireplace and a tile feature wall in our living room. Sounds pretty straight forward but even this smallish project had details where her guidance and expertise were invaluable. Jackie has a rare combination of creative style coupled with a mind that is detail oriented. A combination I highly recommend. She provided estimates, quantities, contracts, suppliers, and advice on interviewing and selecting contractors—all the things necessary for a successful project from a schedule, quality and cost side. She also provided advice on “the look” of my project. I knew what I wanted, in general, but wasn’t sure how to get started. Jackie listened to my ideas. She did not try to change my style to hers, but rather provided advice on how to make my project look the best it could from tile size, color, orientation and fireplace size. My ugly feature wall turned into a stunning contemporary feature wall that everyone loves. Whether you are looking for someone to help guide you through a project, as I was or someone to take hold of the reins to get it accomplished, I highly recommend Jackie and Space Reimagined. Jackie just completed my second project (Spring of 2018), She helped me design and then managed a complete kitchen remodel and this time she took the reins and got it accomplished while i was out of town. Again, she has a rare combination of talents; she is a creative designer and a detailed construction project manager. She has lots of good contacts with suppliers and contractors. Jackie knows her way around design and remodeling projects and she watches the budget and details as if she were spending her own money in her own home! My kitchen was 20 years old and in sad, sad shape. We now have a stunning kitchen that is more open to the rest of the home with new quartz counter tops, glass backsplash, cabinets, appliances, sink, and all the little details that make this kitchen the kitchen of my dreams. When people see it they are stunned at the gorgeous transformation. I am so proud of my new kitchen. One of the lovely things about working with Jackie is her ability to guide while listening to you and helping your style shine through. I can't recommend her any more highly. Working with Jackie at Space Reimagined was a great experience. She helped me renovate a kitchen, two bathrooms and selected paint for all rooms in the house. She also helped me select some key pieces of furniture to finish the look. Jackie listened to my likes/dislikes, had some great suggestions and was very flexible and easy to work with.
