I was charged a consult fee made payable to Christine Estep, not her business (Jackson Thomas Interiors), even though I was told there would not be a consultation fee. (She needs to get in the same page as her staff.) She could not provide a contractual agreement that would outline the scope of the relationship. Because the check was written to her personally and the ambiguity nature of what she would provide, I did not choose to work with this Firm.

Christine Estep and her team did an excellent job in helping us furnish our new home. It was a fairly large project and we had no idea where to begin. With her able guidance, we were able to create an environment that we love, using some pieces we already had and adding new ones. She also helped immensely in the tremendously stressful process of paint color selection. Everything was done on time and within the budget parameters and with professionalism and integrity.

I contacted Christine Estep midway through a room remodel. I wanted her opinion on wallpaper, which she then tried to expand into a complete remodel of several rooms. We parted ways after she was unable to provide paper that was available and a reasonable price. Christine was unprofessional, lacked knowledge of her product, and was not able to meet deadlines. She made comments about my financial status and presented product that was well beyond the budget. She made promises she didn't keep and denied verbal agreements. Unprofessional- dismissed my preference of color and style because they weren't what is currently in style and said choices I had already made for my remodel were outdated. While maybe this is true, she should be professional and abide by my tastes- not her's or some fashion magazine. Ability to meet deadlines- She was extremely slow which put my remodel well behind schedule. It was over a month before I got a quote for wallpaper. Took equally as long just to present her choices for a countertop. Not once did she apologize or make amends for the huge time delay she caused. Knowledge- She ordered samples of a wallpaper that had been discontinued. Instead of informing me, she decided to look for other papers. Then tried to bill for those hours. As a professional, she should have known better than to show an out-of-date wallpaper book. She refused to refund the charge for the samples. (Update: The end of May she refunded the charge). And the new paper she wanted us to buy was three times the cost of the original paper. My overall experience has been horrible. I would not recommend her.

We moved to Williamsburg about a year ago and I was ready to sell the house we bought in a hurry just to get here. I called Christine and she helped me to see the charm and beauty in our home that was there all along. She listened to my design style and helped us with the addition of furniture, wallpaper, bedding and window treatments. She and her team were extremely professional and I would recommend them highly to anyone.

My husband and I have been working with Christine, AnnMarie and their team for well over a year. They have listened to our ideas and have captured our vision repeatedly, helping us to enhance, room by room, the home that we built eight years ago. From window treatments in our kitchen to tremendous style and flare in our Master Bedroom to a complete re-do of our den, it has been a wonderfully positive experience. Christine has been patient, thoughtful and flexible as we have gone through this process, working as our partner all along the way. We can't wait to see what the next design project brings!!!

Christine Estep and Jackson Thomas Interiors was recommended to us as we prepared for a cross country move from Seattle to Williamsburg by our realtors. We first met Christine via a phone conversation from Seattle and immediately recognized that this wonderful lady and her team were not only creative, warm, kind and talented, but she listened, asked questions about our style before making any recommendations. After numerous calls, we met Christine and her team one month prior to our cross country move. We originally decided to have her work on 3 rooms in our new home, which snowballed quickly after our first in-person meeting Her vision, talent and design ideas were so amazing, we expanded the scope of our work with Christine and JTI immediately. And this was a big job to say the least! Christine coordinated painters, plumbers, electricians and numerous contractors to help transform our new house into our home in Kingsmill. By the time we arrived, the entire home was transformed with wallpaper, paint (inside and out) and a new master bath! And the work continued! Her taste is impeccable! She designed our dining room, living room, master bedroom, great room, kitchen, office, outdoor furniture and 3 master baths complete with furniture, art, accessories and window treatments. Our home is truly a reflection of our collaborative efforts and her very hard work! We absolutely love every touch in our new home and we owe it all to Christine's talent, dedication, honesty, vision and her teams outstanding support. We could not recommend more highly Christine and Jackson Thomas Interiors to anyone that has a vision of living in your dream home!

I had a wonderful experience with Christine of Jackson Thomas Interiors. Our second home turned out lovely. She listened to us, stayed within our budget and even oversaw all the work while we were out of town. She is a true professional. I would recommend Christine Estep and Jackson Thomas Interiors to my neighbors and friends for all their furniture, window treatments and any interiors design projects.

BUYER BEWARE! I feel Christine Estep owner of Jackson Thomas Interiors lied to me on multiple issues to get a deposit, then did not remotely honor what she had said. I now have had to file suit to get my deposit back! HORRIBLE!
