Jamie was exactly what we needed for our renovation. She is kind and patient. She listened to us and made our vision a reality, even when we couldn't put into words exactly what we wanted. She was the perfect go between with the contractors and us. I plan to use Jamie for all my future renovation and design needs. You will not regret going with Jamie. It was the best decision we made during this renovation.

I found Jamie House Design on Houzz and after seeing her blog and learning her design process, I knew she was the right fit! We were just wanting Jamie to help select paints and here we are a year later with a fabulous home! We moved into an older ranch style home in Glenwood and Jamie has completely transformed our space into a gem! The original owners came over and said they wanted it back, haha! Jamie designed a brand new kitchen, family room, laundry with my own wrap room and a kitchenette off the "man cave." I love that she asked us how we moved in our home and then married function with beauty into her design! She has given both of us what we want even when we were at odds over the decision. We have not been easy clients and Jamie has had such patience with our situation and has always done her best to make sure we were happy. She has very high standards when it comes to the people who work on our home. Every single contractor, landscaper, window treatment co. plumber etc has been a five star experience! Jamie is incredible. When I first met her she got to know me and what I needed in my new home. She then began her design that is making my house a home. I have had lots of compliments on her work. She listens and is particular to details. She can think "out of the box" and come up with great design ideas. She always consults with you before making any purchases and decisions. We also have spent time looking at different pieces at the stores. She makes time and is there when you need her. You will be pleased with her work!

As a builder, Jamie has become a primary source for all of our design needs. She chooses all finishes inside and out; including cabinetry/trim, tile, counters, paint colors, electric/plumbing fixtures, landscaping, etc, etc.. Jamie and her team are a pleasure to work with and have played a big role in our reputation of providing high quality homes. Because I build spec homes, I give Jamie quite a bit of freedom in her choices; she consistently creates fresh and beautiful interiors that appeal to my buyers. Everyone loves her final product!

I moved to Houston in a tight housing market and all I could really afford was a “fixer-upper”. I found Jamie through Houzz (just read the profiles and thought she would be a good fit). The design and remodeling process took about 6 mos and it was, end-to-end, a great experience. Here’s what I loved about Jamie: 1.She managed the entire project including all the subcontracting – like getting a general contractor along with your designer. This was a big deal to me because I had to travel so much – I gave her the key and depended on her judgment, which was a good decision. 2.She has an architecture background (I think she started as an architecture major and then switched to interior design). We designed some build-out, and the concept and drawings were detailed and complete – ready to hand over to carpenters (who she managed). 3.Her sense of color and design is amazing. I honestly didn’t think the colors would work - but again, I let her make the decisions and that was a good move. It turned out beautifully. I would never have come up with those colors and I absolutely love the whole thing. Can’t recommend Jamie highly enough. Wonderful resource.

Jamie House Design is helping me complete a renovation project in our RV! We sold everything, purchased an RV and are making it our home to travel the USA. When we gutted the RV we found extensive water damage and mold. Jamie connected us with skilled craftsman to help refurbish the cabinetry and ensure a safe home. I created a Pinterest board with my inspirations for the RV and shared it with Jamie. She got my vision and captured my style immediately and effortlessly. I've been thrilled with everything from paint colors to accessories. What's been the best about this experience, though is that Jamie has been thoroughly invested in helping us make this dream come true. She's shared her gifts and talents with us, soothed us when decisions felt overwhelming and held the vision from start to finish. I'm so grateful!

We used Jamie House Design as part of a six-figure office remodel for our engineering company. Everything Jamie did from CAD plans to remodeling to furnishings and design worked seamlessly to make our new office great. Jamie listened to us and knew what we needed better than we knew ourselves. Jamie has been great to work with. If I had to classify myself I would say I am a pretty 'high need's client and she has been just great (never seeming annoyed). She listens to my preferences and comes up with fabulous solutions. Here are just 2 examples: 1. I have this pedestal that was a gift, not really my style but really pretty. I needed to use it somewhere. Not only did she pick the perfect place, she put a fabulous vase and floral arrangement on it that actually made it look like it fit the space and my taste. I actually like it in the room now. 2. After having my son's built ins put in, I found out I was pregnant just days before painting was to begin. Not only did she supervised the whole thing since I couldn't be around the paint, she went on line and researched and installed odor absorbing remedies (that actually worked!) I would highly recommend Jamie!
