J & H Painting

I was pleased when J&H agreed to come out and give us an estimate, as we had heard good things about them, and our town is not among the towns they list as being part of their service area. However, when the estimator arrived to perform an interior and exterior estimate, he refused to wear a mask inside my home under any circumstance, despite being told that an immunocompromised individual lives here. I find this statement odd, given his line of work; might he have to use a spray paining device on an interior job that would necessitate wearing a mask to protect his airway? I thanked him for coming and declined to proceed. If the is this inflexible on a request to protect a member of my household, how easy will he be to work with on a large project?

We highly recommend J & H Painting for work on decks and for interior painting. We have had them do work for us many times and the results have been outstanding. Their workmanship and diligence are excellent. They always make certain we are completely satisfied with the job that was done.

Heath has great staff member that show up when they say they will and work long hours. J & H completed their 5th project for us over the last 4 years: restoring our two backyard decks. Joe worked in very hot direct sunlight conditions to get the project completed during the one-week break in September’s rainy weather. We highly recommend J & H for indoor OR outdoor projects.

We were remodeling our master bath and to save us hundreds of dollars we decided to keep our existing vanities and have them painted by J&H Painting to match the new cabinets that were going in. I gave him the door and color of the new cabinets and Heath and his team matched the color and finish perfectly!! They look like completely new cabinets and you would never know that we kept the old. They blend beautifully with the new cabinets. Heath and his team were amazing they had them done so quick and were so pleasant to work with. When we redo our kitchen we will be having J&H Painting refinish our cabinets, after pricing new cabinets having them paint our old cabinets will save us thousands! Our cabinets are all cherry and in great condition and functional so why not just have them painted to the color we are wanting. I have no doubt that they will do a superb job. Heath really is a master at this trade and has other great skills and knowledge and so does his team. They all are very professional and affordable. I've recommended him to several people and I am usually not one to recommend services unless I am really impressed. Best in the Quad Cities as far as I am concerned.

J&H Painting did an amazing job on my project. They painted my exterior shutters and, concrete foundation, and steel cellar doors. The workmanship was excellent, and the customer service was even better. I will definitely use them again!

J&H did a restain on the decks in our condo association and did a great job. I would highly recommend them for all your painting/staining needs. I am also in the real estate business and plan to recommend them to any clients that have painting that needs to be done.

J & H Painting stained my decks and I very pleased with the prompt response for a quote, suggestions for colors, and the quality of the workmanship. I was especially impressed with the care that was taken to cover my siding, doors, and aggregate patio under my one deck to insure no stain dripped on them. I highly recommend J & H Painting.

When it is time to do some updating, it never happens without some apprehension. This experience with J & H Painting was absolutely a pleasure! Heath set up consultation meetings and came on time and well-prepared. He listened carefully to the goals I had and balanced offering suggestions and incorporating ideas while always leaving the final decisions up to me. Josh was the one who did the painting. He is an artist and a master of his craft! He was so thoughtful and skillful. This was a 3 week project and practically every room was involved. I feared it would never look as perfect as it did when it was new. I was wrong, it looks even better!

J & H Painting was so helpful in helping us pick colors. It is amazing how a little color on your walls makes your house look so nice! They were so prompt, professional, and friendly. Would highly recommend them to anyone.
