Jason and I have collaborated on several homes together. (Scandinavian styled modern farmhouse and the Award winning Falcon Ridge home). He is creative and detail-oriented with an ability to understand the homeowners tastes and lifestyles. He creates homes that speak to them. It's always a pleasure and privilege working with Jason and being a part of his team in creating true homes that integrate the architecture with the landscaping. I highly recommend Jason.

Jason designed an absolutely stunning home for us. He is a true professional, incredibly talented, he listens and works with the client until everyone is satisfied. I consider Jason a great friend now. He is very easy to work with, he knows all the ins and outs of building in Asheville, We interviewed several architects for our home and Jason was the best. My wife and I had the good fortune of having Jason recommended as a possible designer for our new home in Asheville NC. After meeting with several Architects and Designers, we knew immediately after our meeting with Jason, that we had found someone with a similar vision and aesthetic. He listened carefully and was able to incorporate a long list of our design elements into the home plan. He was always very responsive to our changes during the design process and his patience helped make for an enjoyable experience. The response we have had since we moved into our new home has only reinforced our belief that he did a fantastic job of design.

I can say without any hesitation that it has been a pleasure working with Jason Weil at Retro+Fit Design. He has designed a beautiful house for us that we hope to start building next month. The floor plan is as close to perfect for us as one could hope. He listened to everything we wanted and put it all in our design. Any changes during the process were never a big deal. His usual response was "That's easy, just a minor change." Jason is great about answering emails and the phone. He is incredibly responsive. You never have to play phone tag or email tag. I absolutely would recommend him to anyone wanting a home design.

We have worked with Jason on two modern homes here in Asheville. Each home we decide once building the homes to have them be our featured home in the Asheville Parade of Homes. We look forward to building even more of Retro+Fit designs in the coming years.

We are building a Country French, Mountain Home in Asheville, NC. Jason Weil of Retro+fit Design is working on our House Plans. I am in the business, and have worked with many Designers & Architects...Jason is the first one that get's it, and has nailed it! Along with listening to our wants and needs, and his attention to detail, he has made this process painless. Jason has been a pleasure to work with, and in addition, he has added a little more icing on the cake!

Jason Weil was a joy to work with. He always had a solution for any challenge we gave him - in fact, he would email us several. He stuck to our budget and time constraints and we could not be more pleased with everything he did for us. If we were to build again, we would certainly have him design our home.

Jason with Retro+Fit Design, L.L.C. designed two rustic mountain homes for our family. He did a tremendous job envisioning our initial descriptions of what we wanted included and the look and comfort we were going for. His work was detailed and his attention to our projects was great. Jason met our timelines and worked efficiently to design the homes. The costs were also in-line with expectations and budget. He comes highly recommended from builders and now from us! Jason at Retro+Fit Design was the architect on our latest project. We have a very steep lot and he designed the house to fit on it with minimal need for expensive reinforcements. The house is interesting and creative inside and out. Jason is easy to work with and listened to our ideas. He finished our plans in a timely fashion.The house is not completely built yet but it is already beautiful and reflects our taste.

I can't say enough great things about Jason. He was our architect for a kitchen and bath addition to our 1903 home, and he guided us through the entire project. He went above and beyond with his design talent, collaboration, problem solving and service while helping us stay within budget. He consulted us on everything from materials to contractors, and made sure we were always in good hands. His knowledge of the area's historical design requirements enabled our addition to sail through inspection – he even accompanied us to the historical commission meeting to make sure it went smoothly. We couldn't be happier with the result and highly recommend Retro+Fit!
