Jay has always been great to work with. He recently helped us renovate/update our basement after it flooded. His attention to detail from pricing to completed project cannot be matched. He cares about his clients and what is in their best interest. Not just the bottom line. Highly recommend Jay and his team. We were very fortunate to have Jay and his crew work on two house projects. Our first project was a sizeable addition which included upstairs; a sports equipment area, bedroom with a full bathroom & office and in the lower level; a 1/2 bathroom, a rec. room and workout area. Then 9 years later in 2021, we hired Jay to work on a remodel to the master bedroom and bathroom, kitchen and to redesign the mudroom & laundry room. Both jobs were done with quality by Jay, his crew & sub contractors. Jay did an excelllent job trying to understand what we were looking for and what our budget entailed. Then provided us with a plan, concepts & a timeline to complete the work. It's nice to have a contractor that is dependable, experienced & provides quality work. I highly recommend, Build It Pretty.

I have had Jay and his crew do a range of projects at my home over the last 8 years. After such a successful first project, I went back to him for a very big window / door replacement project and then, a few years later, a complete bath remodel. I simply can't say enough good things about Jay and his team. His subs are also first-rate, which is always a positive sign of a great contractor. Jay and his crew are just that, he and his crew. They show up and Jay is on top of everything. I know my fair share about carpentry and home repair, and Jay is truly a gifted and knowledgeable builder. I have seen him sort out and fix things most people would be stuck trying to fix. Lastly, just this year, my son bought a house with his young family only a mile from us. It needed a fast and fairly significant remodel before they could move in. Once again, Jay to the rescue, and he and his team did a fabulous job. I hope he never grows beyond his hands on - tight knit crew because i am going back to him in a flash for the next home project I need. There aren't many out there who have this level quality, integrity, and tremendous skill.

Our remodel was right on schedule and still amazes me on the transformation Jay and the crew made to our home. This is about a 4-5th time using Build it Pretty and would highly recommend them!

We moved to Minnesota about 5 ½ years ago, purchasing an older stone house with magnificent woodwork and exceptional detail. Jay and his crew took on a substantial remodel/upgrade project and executed flawlessly. These guys are professional, friendly, and highly skilled craftsmen. On another occasion we had a pipe burst when I was away at work (airline pilot). Yuki called Jay and he was at the house within an hour mitigating damage and beginning the cleanup and restoration process. On Super Bowl Sunday afternoon!!! We could not be happier with all they have done!!
