Please save money and time and find someone who knows what they are doing. I hired Jose to get a drawing for a kitchen remodel. We discussed the project, and I told him how we would like it to be designed (because all I needed was the drawing for city permits) and price the first time he came in. He took measurements, and everything seemed to start fine. In about a week, Jose brought the first drawing, but he said that he needed to retake measurements (which is odd, given that architects should be able to do it from the first time) and also took payment for the beginning of work. I sent his first drawings to my cabinet place, and he told me to wait for the second set because this one was completely off. Then Jose told me that he would not be available for two weeks due to his medical procedures. When I asked him how it was going after two weeks, he told me that he was now on vacation. He gave me a second set of drawings four weeks later, but I still needed to describe how I told him. He forgot to check (or didn't; I wonder if it was intentional) if our electric panel could carry additional appliances, and he asked us for more money than the original amount because it was extra work (that he missed) It went back and forth for a month, and where he refused to do anything without. When I told him that electrical should be part of the drawing, he threatened me with his daughter, an attorney. We paid two runs at the time,

Mr. Casanova has consulted on multiple home projects, such as roof replacement, impact resistant windows and doors, interior lighting, and American Disabilty Act (ADA) modifications. Of his many attributes, his ability to be patient and listen to the needs of his client is exceptional. He acknowledges the clients' requests and is able to take into consideration, often overlooked issues, such as special circumstances for the elderly or handicap accessibilty needs. Jose Casanova is a true professional Architect dedicated to the customer. We bought an old and antiquated house, and with our ideas, and his help, we obtained an amazing, functional and efficient design. We extended the house, creating 7 new spaces and remodeled the entire house to make it more comfortable for our family. Its like moving to a new house. It’s a new house. Casanova pays attention to the details, very patient, with lots of experience, and knowledge. He saved us a lot of money with his knowledge and dedication. Jose is a good problem solver, helped us from the beginning to the end of the project. He is efficient, and transparent. Therefore, we highly recommend Casanova as an Architect.
