Julie and John are very responsive when I have questions. They are also open to my ideas for what I want to plant, yet provide their expertise for what will work and won't, while providing alternatives that may work better.

Julie did an amazing job on our landscape renovation. We replaced almost every bit of our front/side yard, tore out and replaced the sidewalk/front porch, added a drainage system and rebuilt the brick mailbox. Julie listened to our ideas, made excellent suggestions and gave us a plan that would enhance the appearance and function of our yard. She was also conscious of cost and worked to stay within our budget. We are thrilled with the results and highly recommend Julie!

JDS Designs totally transformed the curb appeal of our home while fixing the problems we had - not enough parking and poor landscaping. And they stayed in budget. We love what they did! I have used JDS Design annually for about 6 years and I always look forward to working with Julie each spring. We started with an overhaul and expansion of my yard and gardens, and have gradually upgraded the gardens each year. Here's what I like about working with Julie: she has a creative and solid eye for design, knows the plant material well, uses a good crew, respects the budget and is flexible. She understands my overall game plan and has great ideas for achieve the results. She is patient, but efficient, and is lots of fun to work with. She's very busy in the spring, so one must be patient.

Julie and her JDS Design team completely transformed our residence with their exceptional landscaping! They developed a theme based on the design and colors in our home, and tied everything beautifully tied together. The flow of the landscaping design changed the whole look of our front yard and back yard. Julie carefully studied the location for all plantings. So, every tree and shrub and flower arrived looking healthy and then thrived over the years based on their perfect placement. We could not recommend her more highly!

JDS Design did an excellent job of planning an attractive front planting design for us. We had difficulty getting grass to grow because of very large oak trees. Julie, the owner of JDS, provided a professional plan and was very frequently on site while the installation took place. The yard looked lovely with the shade-loving plants chosen. All plants weathered the winter well and are coming back beautifully. She and her staff were unfailingly polite, helpful and knowledgeable. We would recommend JDS designs, both because of the results achieved and the willingness of the staff to meet deadlines and stay within the projected budget.

Julie did a refresh on our front yard in 2012. Her design was lovely and her installation team was quite good. It helped that she was onsite much of the time as we worked through the installation. She is a bright, creative landscaper. Don’t hesitate to call her.

Julie and her team did a beautiful job on our front and back yard, from the design to the plant selection to the installation of a small, beautiful water feature. A few delays with the crew did slow things down a bit, but Julie made up for it in her strong listening skills, willingness to incorporate hard scape items we already had, and selection of very nice plants for the space-depending on the amount of sun and shade and growth habits of the plants.
