This was a very unimpressive experience that we had with these people. The confusion began with their office help and after we gave a down payment it took over a month before we had to track them down and ask why they didn't schedule us yet. Times are good right now and I guess businesses can afford to not be on the ball and to treat people this way, and take their customer's for granted.

I dd a full house remodel in Salt Lake and used Tanner for doors, shower glass, mirrors, door hardware, windows and closet systems. For 90% of the project they were great. However, on final inspection I was called for windows not meeting egress code (square footage for crawling out the window). The salesman claimed that the builder told him only one window in the basement needed to be egress, which I can't buy. Because it was a full remodel it had to go through city permit, and because of this every window in the basement was dug out, up-sized and new window well poured in concrete to meet egress code. After doing all that I can't believe he then said that only one new window would have to be egress. When the error was found the salesman told me he would work with me on the cost and offered to cover half (because he was still trying to blame the contractor). I paid half to get the windows in and when the job was done I was then told the owner didn't want to allow him to cover the other half and I was asked to pay the full amount. Basically I was stuck buying two sets of windows for the basement because this window company doesn't know codes. I will never be using them again. I remodel and sell about 1 house a year.

Tanner Glass recently installed a beautiful glass tub/shower surround and vanity mirrors in our new ensuite master bath. What I would like to comment on, other than their beautiful work, was their total commitment to providing me with a superior product while working under less than ideal circumstances. My husband and I were out of town while the majority of the work was being performed. There were a few issues NOT caused by Tanner Glass. Throughout the installation their technicians remained calm and focused and interested only in providing the highest quality workmanship and service. Jennie, Thomas and Mark bring a true trifecta of responsiveness, professionalism and craftsmanship to their trade. I have and will continue to recommend Tanner Glass. Thank you again for your willingness to go above and beyond to complete my project on time, on budget despite trying circumstances.

So professional and respectful of my home. Staff insisted on putting on shoe covers when inside my home (even for the estimate). Delivered on time and their products are very reasonable. I have used them twice since moving into my new home.
