Jennifer Kizzee and her team were wonderful to work with! We recently worked with this design team on a major renovation that included redesigning all of our bathrooms and our kitchen. They also helped us select paint colors throughout the rest of the house to create a cohesive look and feel from room to room. They remained committed to finding solutions and helping us work through the inevitable bumps that come with a project of this size. We absolutely love our home! The kitchen is beautiful and functional and the bathrooms feel updated and timeless. The paint selections tied everything together perfectly and gave our home a polished, cohesive feel that we never could have achieved on our own. We are grateful for their creativity, guidance, and expertise throughout the process. Renovations can be stressful, but we are thrilled with the finished product!

From start to finish, Jennifer Kizzee’s design team was incredible to work with. They took the time to understand my vision for a modern mid-century bachelor pad in a high-rise apartment and elevated it in ways I never could’ve imagined. Every detail—from the layout and color palette to the furniture and lighting—feels intentional, cohesive, and perfectly executed. The space is stylish yet comfortable, and it truly feels like home. I came in with a few ideas, and they refined and expanded on them beautifully. Family and friends have all complimented the space when they see it, and I still find myself saying “wow” every time I walk through the door. I first met Jennifer in 2017 when she helped us with a small project, so when my husband and I decided to completely remodel a house we purchased in Canyon Lake, Texas, I called Jennifer right away to see if she could help with the interior design. I prepared myself to be disappointed since we now lived four hours away but to my delight, she said yes, and brought in designers Paige and Mikalah to assist. Not only did these ladies make the process smooth and easy, we had a lot of fun. And the distance was no obstacle. After one on-site meeting, we communicated and collaborated through email, phone, and online boards to develop the designs for our new (and much larger) kitchen and two bathrooms. The JKD ladies provided kitchen and bath plans that our architect was able to integrate directly into our overall plans, and they selected all the materials to turn a humble little 1970s ranch into a mid-century stunner. Jennifer, Paige, and Mikalah not only saved me weeks (months?) worth of time I would have spent shopping on my own, they brought a creative flair to our project that I would have never accomplished on my own. A special shoutout goes to Jennifer Schmidt for making the ordering process smooth and efficient. If there's ever another design project in my future, my first call will be to Jennifer Kizzee Design.

I had the pleasure of working with the Jennifer Kizzee Design team in transforming my cozy kitchen & dining space into not only a more function-able and stunning space. Sydney Stewart and Jennifer Kizzee addressed my pain points with the unique space and were able to capture my overall aesthetic. They communicated over the course of the project and gave me an opportunity to discuss any issues I saw arise. I’ve heard horror stories regarding renovation projects but fortunately the Jennifer Kizzee Design team helped guide my along the way, and allowed me to make the decisions.

Jennifer did an amazing job with the renovation of our kitchen/pantry, living room, master bath and closet, stairs, and dinning room. We had such a wonderful experience working with Jennifer. We are building a new home, with a commercial builder, and if you are familiar with the process, you have two design meetings, 2 hours long, to make every single selection for your new home. This team is a powerhouse! Jennifer and her design team just completed a kitchen and pantry remodel and updated other rooms in my home. They were very professional, but always gave that personal touch! They were always available when needed and answered every question and concern I had. Had an amazing experience with Jennifer and her team. I was looking for someone that could do something out of the box for me and she was able to achieve that for our new home. I found her through Houzz while looking for some study room ideas. Once we met and started the process, she was able to complete the perfect look I needed. We transformed and personalized each of our spaces from adding a porch swing bed on our patio to adding fun wallpaper and trim work in master bedroom. Jennifer was also mindful of budget, and we were able to use a mixture of reasonably priced items and higher end pieces to tie the rooms together for a modern classy look. I am so pleased that I was able to find her through Houzz, and her pictures just say it all!

Our home flooded during Hurricane Harvey in 2017. The stress of trying to put it back together proved too monumental for the small design team I first hired. We had a fantastic experience with Jennifer and her design team with our second story remodel. Our renovation included a complete overhaul of two bathrooms including removing tubs and building new showers; new paint, trim, carpet, closets and doors for three bedrooms; and an an update to our game room with a new media wall and built ins. Jennifer was amazing! She did a virtual tour of the room I wanted to spruce up. In seconds she came up with a layout design that I hadn’t thought of in the ten years I’ve been in this house. It’s an awkward space that has perplexed me and caused me to avoid it. She guided me on furniture selection and taught me the magic of area rugs. Jennifer and her team of designers helped put the finishing touches on my home redecorating project. I wanted wallpaper and something different and Jennifer was able to bring my vision to life!! Jennifer did an excellent job with decorating our home! I had a vague idea about what I was wanting and Jennifer helped put it all together and bring it to life! It exactly what I was wanting and more! She really listens to you and is honest about what will work. We knew from our first meeting with Jennifer that we were in excellent hands! We met to discuss a kitchen and master bath renovation. We did not have anything specific in mind, but before she left she told us she already knew what our home would look like when she was finished! She was able to provide a preliminary budget, and that allowed us decide how large the scope of the project would be. In the end, we renovated the kitchen, master bath, and living room, with minor changes in the powder room and home office, as well as new flooring throughout the downstairs. In addition to her impeccable style, Jennifer gets extremely high marks for her professionalism and communication. She answered every text or email promptly, and she always made me feel like my project was her top priority. The contractor and Jennifer worked extremely well together. The attention to detail and the quality of the work was superb. Jennifer’s invoicing system is easy and efficient, as well. Jennifer had access to amazing resources for every aspect of our project, from flooring and countertops to lighting, furniture, and décor. She was always respectful of my budget, and was able to help me decide where it was worth it to splurge and where we could go with less expensive options without compromising the design. She was very patient with me when I couldn’t make decisions, but she also would sometimes gently nudge me to “trust your designer on this.” Good advice – she was right every single time! The end result far exceeds our expectations! Every time I walk into my “new” home, I can’t believe I live here. It is a comfortable, peaceful, beautiful place that makes me very happy. I can’t wait to work with Jennifer again on the next phase!

I originally contacted Jennifer for a consultation to get her advice on my plans for a kitchen renovation I was considering with my contractor. After just an hour, Jennifer had designed an entirely different layout within budget that I loved. I signed a contract with Jennifer that evening and the stress of a renovation was instantly removed. She takes care of handling every aspect and detail from beginning to end, and always makes herself available to answer any question or concerns. Her entire team are hardworking, professional, and trustworthy. Within days of starting my project, I was discussing add-ons. Beyond Satisfied!!! Where to even begin... Jennifer and her team took our dream and made it into a reality. My wife and I were reluctant at first because we have never used a service like this before and we had just purchased a brand new home that we thought we could decorate on our own, but Jennifer and her team came in and blew our expectations out of the water. JKD was professional, understanding, and true to their word. We utilized their recommended contractors for carpentry , electrical , and paint work and were provided services of the same caliber. This remodel of the master bath is the second project that Jennifer has coordinated for us, and we're super happy with the way it turned out. Like the kitchen before it, the crew paid great attention to detail. The craftsmanship on the tile work and new hardware installation is top-notch. The project took a little longer than expected, but we're not complaining - the end result is well worth the extra time. We were burned by a contractor last year after Hurricane Harvey. We connected with Jennifer and could not be more pleased with the choice. We'd hire her again.

She quickly picked up on our likes/dislikes and helped us move from a traditional to transitional style with a touch of contemporary. We had a terrible experience with the contractor we initially hired for our project. Jennifer was incredible to work with and turned lemons into lemonade. We love our home and there is no way we would have achieved the final product we did without her. Never once did she seem inconvenienced by changes or wrinkles along the way. We felt like we were her only client (although we know that's not the case) when we were with her. Finding the right materials, creating the right look and our satisfaction was always her priority. I can't say enough about Jennifer and her team. The quality was great AND they hit their deadline that was set day 1.

Jennifer and Jon are a fantastic team!! We would hire them again and have given them many referrals. Our home was flooded in hurricane Harvey and she literally helped us every day for 7 months. Although she is not a contractor, Jennifer found workers and assisted our entire rebuild. This was a huge task, since our home had to be gutted and almost all furniture was lost. She did amazing designs, decor selections, and material selections needed to rebuild our home.
