We used Jerry Lithwin Construction for some renovations including a couple deck additions, patio door and rear door additions, and some minor repairs. We are completely satisfied with everything. The project was completed on time. The on-site crew was very talented and friendly, and they seemed to have a good relationship with the builder, which is always a good sign. We highly recommended Jerry Lithwin Construction.

Contractor Jerry Lithwin and his extraordinary team of an electrician, plumer, painter, and vinyl floor installer did the highest quality work on my home remodel. They met their deadlines. They maintained contact with me during the remodel so I always knew what to expect, and when they were scheduled to do the work. Highly recommended.

Jerry and Aimee Lithwin were truly wonderful to work with. They both were great about answering calls/texts very swiftly. Jerry always left everything picked up and clean daily. The sub-contractors were very competent & friendly. The work was finished as scheduled/promised aside from an issue or two of getting supplies due to COVID-19. Aimee’s eye for design was VERY helpful to us in choosing tile, countertops, etc. And when the “guys” would recommend something Aimee was fantastic at thinking through the idea and sharing a point of view none of us had thought of and sometimes coming up with a better design idea.

Comment from Jerry Lithwin Construction, Inc.:

Thank you Becky and the whole Varner family for you business and your kind words! Constructing a Granny Unit for Al and Jennifer that was functional for aging-in-place and aesthetically beautiful was a challenging and rewarding project. We're so pleased we had a role in helping you figure out how to create an extra living space that would work for everybody. It was truly a delight to work with all of you. Looking forward to a time when we can all gather for a BBQ!

We had had toilet leaks in our upstairs bathroom, once with a leak into the downstairs bathroom. The extent of sub-floor damage was not known, and there was also the big question of "mold." When Jerry Lithwin came to prepare his bid, he explained what some of the unknowns might be and how he would handle them if they came up. We liked his bid because it listed the work details - demo, repair sub-floor, tile, drywall, new toilet, baseboard, electrical, and paint. This made it easier when we decided to keep the old light fixture and chose a different kind of flooring. There was also more sub-floor work than had been expected. The work was well done, with clear thinking and good communication. A meaningful surprise: the amount of the invoice was lower than the bid amount! This contractor could have charged the full amount bid, but he did not. He adjusted the price to his costs.

I love my new deck. I had an unfortunate staining experience with my old wooden deck and Jerry came highly recommended by a local deck company I had used previously. Jerry and his daughter did an amazing job building my new deck. I spoke with Jerry's wife and she was a delight to communicate with as well. Truly a family run business with excellent service. I highly recommend Jerry Lithwin Construction for your next project.

Paul and Debbie Kelly

Our relationship with Jerry and Aimee started over 11 years ago when they remodeled both our master and guest bathrooms. We were so impressed and delighted with their ideas, workmanship and professionalism that we have had them remodel our entire home and add a room to the front of the house. Aimee is a wealth of design ideas and can take a thought of what we want and turn it into a vision and Jerry uses his construction knowledge and skills to bring our idea to reality. Our experience dealing with the Lithwin's on our projects is that they are honest, thorough, timely and enjoyable to be with. Without hesitation, we highly recommend them!

Wow! It's hard to even remember the "before" pictures of the front of your home prior to the remodel. A fairly typical Los Osos house was transformed into a show-stopper with massive amounts of curb appeal and more usable space! We really appreciate you trusting us again and again with your projects, Deb and Paul. You've had the courage to push boundaries and implement out-of-the-box design idea resulting in a bold, stylish, comfortable home that is much better suited to your personalities. We're honored to have been a part of bringing your vision to life. Call us whenever you're ready for the pergola and fire columns in the backyard! Aimee & Jerry

Roberta Mangini

You can trust Jerry, his judgement, and his treatment of your space. At first, we worried about our two small dogs, but Jerry was careful with gates and doors and made sure they didn’t get out. He also came in right on time and on budget. He was always available to talk and kept in constant communication with us throughout the job. He’s reasonable, honest and does what he says he’ll do. Our remodel turned out beautifully!
