About Us

Jessy Krol, owner of Jessy Krol Designs has been designing residences all along the east coast. Her goal is to analyze how her clients live, and provide them with the most functional and beautiful setting to do so. She likes to blend functionality & aesthetics that bring her clients visions to a new level. Working with Jessy is a give and take relationship – it’s an interactive process of her bringing her expertise in the field while incorporating her client’s personal styles and desired outcome. She has completed a variety of projects from formal traditional spaces to family friendly modern--a range which is something she prides herself on. Each project is a result of the collaboration and open communication between Jessy and her clients, and the end results are spaces that reflect the personalities of those that live there. The difference working with Jessy is she is capable of doing a complete design for your home - not just decorating. Designing involves building the overall look of the home before any of the fabrics, furnishings or accents go into the house. Her hand drawings allow her to be more intimately involved & present with the design process. This technique, along with her down to earth personality & collaborative process, has proven to make clients fall in love with their homes again.

She took the time to understand both of our perspectives, then translated that into smart, grounded options that balanced aesthetics, function, and how we actually live in the space. Rather than pushing an agenda, she guided the process with clarity and calm, giving us room to explore while keeping everything focused and moving forward. She was very patient and understanding, and provided suggestions based on our taste. Jessy is incredibly creative but also very respectful of her clients' wishes. I purchased a new-construction condominium and had to make several decisions about materials prior to completion. Jessy chose counter tops, cabinets, hardware, flooring, and paint for the kitchen and two bathrooms. She was very receptive to my desire for a simple, clean, stylish look on a shoestring budget.

Rather than bring the client in she made selections to present to her client. She is creative and has a wonderful excitement to her designs and the materials she chooses. I met Jess almost three years ago when my garage was converted into a bar on the HGTV show, My First Renovation, and the result was amazing. Since then she has helped me turn my bachelor pad into a killer space! She really pushed me to think outside of the box. I highly recommend her for her skills as a designer, but also for how easy she is to work with. She lacks pretense, she's funny, and she really pays attention to my goals and my budget.
