Late, unprofessional, poor-quality work is what I received from J Forrest. My laundry room remodel was supposed to take 3 weeks to finish. It took ELEVEN MONTHS for them to get it even close to an acceptable level of completion! The subcontractor from JForrest had no idea what he was doing- from spilling concrete all over the backyard when his foundation frame broke multiple times during the pour, to installing a window sideways and sealing in the weepholes (so the window couldn’t open and would rot out the whole wall), to uneven tile flooring, to textured walls that look like they’re melting, to broken outlets being installed, to a brand new LEAKING roof, to...the list goes on and on! I had to fight the owner to get even close to acceptable work done since he didn’t supervise his subcontractor, and then he wanted even more money! I strongly suggest looking elsewhere for your building needs.

Right from the beginning, I knew I had picked the right construction company for my master bathroom addition. After the plans were drawn and contract was signed, I was impressed by the how quickly things started progressing. We had to wait a week or so for the continual bad weather to subside, but when the rain finally stopped for a couple of days, the owner of the company showed up with an excavator and a trailer to dig out the site. It looked like he really enjoyed running the excavator. From that point on, and despite the occasional downpour, his team of professionals and subcontractors got to work and built that badly needed second bathroom. One member of his team really stood out, the project manager. Dwayne was always available for questions, suggestions, and other matters related to the construction. He made sure deliveries were on time and that the contractors always had the materials they needed. His suggestions were always helpful and even inspiring. I would recommend that anyone looking for a contractor to put in a room addition, remodel a bathroom, a kitchen, or to put up new siding, that they contact J Forrest Construction first.

JForrest Construction took off our existing siding and replaced it with James Hardie Colorplus hardiplank siding. They did a fantastic job. They were able to start sooner than anticipated which was a plus and the job was finished in a timely manner. When the siding was being put on a pipe burst and JForrest immediately took care of it by having a plumber here in an hour. We are very pleased with the final result and will recommend JForrest to anyone looking to reside their home.

The professionals at JForrest helped my wife and I design and build a sun room off our master bedroom that took the place of an aging, ugly deck. The build took place during the winter, which created scheduling conflicts and hiccups, but the communication level with JForrest was excellent, which gave us piece of mind the project would be completed. It turned out better than we could have imagined. The smell of the cedar walls. The beauty of the stained, stamped concrete floors. Gorgeous. The trust level with all of the employees at JForrest was solid. It's hard to leave strangers the keys to your house and allow them access while you're away at work. We had no reservations giving their employees all access. And in the end, the project came in finished under budget.
