Judy helped us design an entire house. She is skilled in finding space for closets, bathrooms, and making each room flow together. She was in charge of inventory, motivated the contractor to move quickly, and picked all the finishings. She helped with 7 bathrooms, living room, dining room, den, office/ library, 3 bedroom basement, master bedroom, 4 kids bedrooms,and 2 guest bedrooms. We fit in all the rooms we wanted. I highly recommend Judy Lazarus to shorten the length of your project. If you do it alone A . It will take 5 years but with Judy only 1-2 years for large project maybe less 6 months if you can make decisions quickly and meet her twice a week for 4-5 hours. B. It may never get done if you try alone Judy is also great when you do t know what to choose. She can give you three choices. If you and your family disagree on style or color she can help find a way that both of umyou are happy. She is like a therapist who knows how to make everyone satisfied. We really enjoyed working with Judy. She is now our friend.

Judi worked on various projects in my home: construction, design and decorating of my family room (den), kitchen, bathrooms, third floor construction with two new bedrooms and a new bathroom, living room, dining room, hallway and two other bedrooms, Judi is always professional, innovative and on top of what is new and fresh while not getting caught up in passing fads. I think she is extremely talented and would highly recommend her to anyone looking for an experienced designer. The work listed above took place over the course of ten years or so.

We have worked with Judi and her team for approximately 20 years. Most notable was when we undertook a major renovation of our home. The project consisted of a new cooks kosher kitchen and breakfast room, new all weather sunroom, new family room, mudroom and a new bedroom and full bathroom. The project also included fully renovating and decorating 4 existing bedrooms and 4 existing full bathrooms, powder room, living room, dining room, study, and entrance hall. It was a significant undertaking and we especially credit Judi with getting us through it. There were a number of challenges including changing architect mid project and having to refile for permits and later replacing the contractor as well. Through it all Judi was a constant, patiently guiding us through the process and somehow always finding solutions and a clear direction forward. She is very knowledgeable and extremely competent and precise(measurements). She is prudent, always explaining the wearability and durability of her recommendations. She is also very thorough; she gave us a very comprehensive selection of fabrics, tile, etc to enable us to make a very considered decision. From the outset Judi strives for the client to love their home and for the home to be a reflection of its inhabitants. Every interaction even when tough decisions had to be made was a pleasure. She had other projects at the time that were larger in scope than ours yet she always made us feel like we were her most important clients. Ten years on, we love our home and the wise investments Judi helped us make. We continue to work together on small projects such as selecting and purchasing additional furniture and rugs. Judi is very talented and patient. She knows how to put together a beautiful room using the elements that you like. She is pleasure to work with.

Decorated our brand new home. There are no words to describe the wonderful job. Anyone who visits with us love and admire it. Everything, was done with impeccable attention to the smallest details and all our preferences. At our first meeting she wanted to know what our likes are, what we expect, etc. Her experience is so great that she was able to come up with perfect match to our expectations. Very reliable, pleasant, easy to work with. Supervises all the work done by others and accepts only perfection. Couldn't be happier. Last year we had enormous water damage on first floor, we called her back and one would never know how bad it was. She was able to bring it back to the previous beautiful condition.

I have worked with Judy for several years. She has impeccable taste and is a pleasure to work with. I always trust her opinions. We are in the middle of several projects now . We are now in the midst of a kitchen renovation- huge project - two large islands and 3 sinks 3 ovens multiple appliances. We wanted to use color in out kitchen and opted for apple wood cabinets with both turquoise lava stone and white quartz counters. The kitchen is amazing. We are also redoing the dining room. Several Bathrooms and refinished and paneled a large part of the basement. It's all coming out amazing ! Different! Unique !
