Jim Adams Design

We highly recommend Jim Adams as your interior designer. We have worked with him since 2005 on projects such as rearrangement of our art collection and furnishings, picking out light fixtures, window/chair coverings, major interior painting with excellent accent colors to coordinate across all the main floor rooms. Recent projects include redesign of the main floor half bath, kitchen counter tops/lighting and hardware and a complete remodeling of our master bath. His coordination as "project manager" for the MB was essential to the success of the project. He is very professional, works within our budget, listens carefully to our desires/concerns and has excellent resource contractors. We also prize his ability to be the "handyman" for minor issues around the house when we have a "crisis". He knows how to manage his resources because he knows how to do many of the jobs those contractors do for his clients.

I had never worked with a designer before, but after 20 years of thinking about it, it was time to remodel my kitchen. Jim came highly recommended by a friend, but I was very nervous -- right up until we met. Jim was willing to go along with my unusual wish for stainless-steel countertops and a marble-topped island, and he spent three months talking me through what I wanted in flooring. The kitchen design came together beautifully and the actual remodel took exactly one month. So now we're about to start our fifth project, and no one else will ever be allowed to touch my house.
