Johnson remodeling is a competent, professional, and quality business and we are so happy we chose them after interviewing 4 separate contractors. They completed the project in a timely manner which was amazing because the structure is a farmhouse built in the mid 18oo’s. Everything was off kilter, the plumbing and electrical wiring were an incredible puzzle. The floors were off by 3 to 4 inches from one side to the other. Issues kept popping up day after day. Nothing was a show stopper, they were experienced and able to handle every monster that raised its ugly head. With all that, plus the projects we added during the remodel, they were only 2 weeks longer than estimated. During the project, they never left our remodel to do another. Everything was ordered and delivered in a timely manner. There was no time idle waiting for material. Brian was amazing at having all material preordered and delivered when needed. It is very disrupting to have a group of workers arrive at your home day after day for weeks and weeks. The experienced professional staff (carpenters, electricians and plumbers) employed by Johnson Remodel were always considerate, congenial, and worked with minimal disruption. Ken actually “cleaned up “ every day prior to leaving. We strongly recommend this business to anyone considering any type of remodel project.

Have used Johnston Remodeling on two projects. The first was a complete bathroom remodel, and the second was a wood flooring install in two rooms. It was a pleasure to work with Jay and Brian and their guys. They were at all times extremely professional, and the quality of the work was top notch, especially when it came to paying attention to detail. But, let me expound on what I think sets them apart from other companies that I have dealt with. First, they were very respectful of what was going on in my household. As everyone knows Home construction can be very disruptive. However, with Johnston, I knew step by step what was going to happen, so that I could plan around it. Second, they told me exactly how long it was going to take and that’s how long it took. They completed the flooring project a day ahead of schedule. I had that project done right before Christmas, and they were very considerate of the fact that I was on a time schedule. Which brings me to the third point. Very professional clean up, with no messes left. And lastly, and perhaps most important, I was told exactly what it would cost, and that was exactly what I paid! One last point to make, about what was most helpful to me. Brian did a lot of my legwork for me, so that I didn’t always have to run around to different places. If he found samples he thought I would like he would text or email pictures. Huge, huge help! Thank you Jay and Brian and Frank and crew! Great job!! Jay and Brian Johnston make customer service and customer happiness number one. Their team are all respectful and conscientious when working in my home. Four plus projects large and small so far and any in the future will go to them. Some of the guys who really impressed me were Eric and Vance. On time and do a great job.

This group of men are excellent at what they do. I had them do my porch, my doors, and my windows. They are a very respect full group of men and you can highly trust them. I plan on using them for future projects

We hired Johnston-Remodel for a large addition to our home and couldn't be happier with the outcome. We now have a master bedroom, master bathroom, large walk-closet, a very large kitchen and sunroom. They were right on time, even ahead of schedule while we added projects along the way. Johnston Remodel did custom walk in closets at my home and they are awesome! The design fits exactly what I needed to put in my closet.

I hired Johnston Remodeling to install a new Bathtub and redo the drywall in my bathroom. They provided me with a free quote, and were willing to adjust the quote to exactly what I needed without charging me. Their workers were professional, timely, and very friendly. We hired Johnston Remodeling to demolish the kitchen addition to our pre-1870 farmhouse, rebuild the kitchen addition (along with a storage room and a mudroom), install new vinyl siding on the entire home, install replacement windows throughout the entire house, and install a rock façade on a portion of the exterior of the home. Johnston Remodeling did an excellent job on all aspects of the demolition and construction, worked great with us and other subcontractors and suppliers, and above all, they were mindful of the age of the home and helped us maintain an old farmhouse feel despite all the upgrades. They were also great at listening to our concerns and meeting the needs of our lifestyle, so the house now fits us better than ever. They communicated frequently and openly about cost and stayed on budget throughout the entire project. And they were on task the entire time, completing the project before we thought they would.
