We just started our kitchen remodel project with Michael T. at JM Kitchens in Castle Rock. A friend suggested JM to me after she had her kitchen fully remodeled by the Colorado Springs location. John at JM Kitchen and Bath Design did a great job on our kitchen remodel! They were timely and patient with us from start to finish.

We worked with Julie on a complete overall of our kitchen, which included knocking down a wall and switching up the layout. Our house is a 100-year-old craftsman bungalow so it has some quirks that we needed to work around. We also had the added challenges of needing to blend the new kitchen with more traditional parts of the home that we wanted to preserve and a relatively tight budget to work with. Julie patiently guided us through the entire process and came up with creative designs that achieved all of our goals - maximizing storage, creating a brighter and more open feel, and integrating with the other parts of the home within a set budget. Julie was a true partner throughout the whole process, telling us what we needed to decide by when, helping manage the contractors, finding a structural engineer, and even giving us recommendations for other parts of the remodel that she wasn't involved in (e.g., paint colors and light fixtured in other rooms). She really cares about her clients and her projects and it shows. And a side bonus is that she's a fabulous human who is really fun to spend time with. We would work with her again in a heartbeat!

Julie Mann at JM Kitchen & Bath Design was just fantastic! I had no idea where to begin with my kitchen remodel. I found their listing on Houzz and reached out. I got an immediate response and off we went! We met and looked at cabinets, backsplash tile, etc., she drew up a design and with a little bit of tweaking it was perfect! The remodel officially took about 5 months to complete. I just LOVE it! Julie was there from the beginning and in the end she thought it was as gorgeous as I did! My wife and I decided to remodel our kitchen at the beginning of the year and had a friend refer us to Taylor as they had used her as a designer for their kitchen a few years back. After our first meeting with Taylor at our house going over our ideas for the kitchen, she promptly came up with multiple designs for us. After picking the design we liked most, she made our remodel super easy. She answered every question we had and provided her opinion when we had doubt in our decisions. Everything was ordered, delivered and installed when it was scheduled. She went above and beyond our expectations with our cabinets ordering touch up paint pens and spray paint in case we ever need it without asking. Her communication was outstanding throughout the project. The few issues we had that inevitably show up when doing a remodel, Taylor handled immediately. I can’t say enough about how professional and talented Paul and his team were. From the moment we walked in the door until the job was complete, 5 stars all the way. At JM we found what we were looking for after trying other custom design shops. Paul came up with some design ideas that were unique and we incorporated the changes for a much better layout. After we signed the contract (after no hard sell pressure), Paul developed a time time to completion and each and every date was met. As far as installation, Clint headed up that effort and he was great - professional, informative, timely, skilled and talented. He never left the job location in disarray and cleaned up after each day. When it came time for the granite installation - they even washed the floors after sealing the surfaces! After reading about so many nightmare remodel projects we were glad we chose JM ! Thanks to all! We will use your company again and gladly refer anyone we have the opportunity to. Paul did a great job helping us pick cabinets and the design and installation went without a hitch! Wish we could say that about our other sub contractors. They look beautiful and we are really happy about our new kitchen. What a difference!

We had been planning to remodel our kitchen for several years, and had contacted two other kitchen design companies before we found JM Kitchen & Design. I sent a request to them through their website on a Sunday and received a call almost immediately setting up an appointment for Mike Thulson to come out and look at our kitchen. Mike was very professional and had so many great ideas that we hadn’t thought of. After we agreed on the design of the kitchen, everything went very quickly and smoothly. One of the things we were really impressed with was the help Mike gave us on the day we went out and chose the tile, cabinet hardware, and countertops. Mike helped us pick out what we wanted, and still stay within our budget. Mike and Jacque found the contractor to do the job, Scott with HOW Construction, and everything was scheduled to be done in 5 weeks. We had heard horror stories of kitchen projects dragging out for weeks more than the original schedule, so we were very happy that everything was completed right on time. Jacque was great at getting everything delivered to our home on time, and getting a few things replaced in a timely manner also. Our contractor, Scott with HOW Construction was an extreme pleasure to have in our house doing the remodel. He single handily renewed our faith in remodeling contractors. He was on time, or early every day, he is meticulous in his work, and every obstacle was met with confidence and speed. He also made it a point to make sure the job site (our kitchen) was clean and meticulous every day before he left. Scott is a real professional and would recommend him without hesitation. Taylor at JM Kitchen and Bath did an amazing job with our kitchen remodel. We were moving to Colorado from out of state and gutting/redoing the whole kitchen and Taylor was wonderful at helping us make decisions from afar as well as make sure to be available when we were in town. Her ability to help us envision the finished product really helped us feel confident in our decisions. Communication is so important during renovation and she was great at answering calls and emails. She is also very organized and kept a strict timeline-making sure our other contractors stayed on schedule so that her schedule wouldn't be interrupted. Our kitchen is our favorite room in the house- not only is it beautiful but it is fun to cook in, easy to keep clean, great for entertaining and it just makes sense. Taylor helped create a wonderful flow in the kitchen. The quality from the cabinets to appliances to back splash to counter tops is top notch. It's everything we wanted and more. Wanted to give a shout out to JM Kitchen & Bath for the excellent job they did on our kitchen remodel, from setting up the drawings to putting in the last appliance. Paul did an incredible job with the drawings, made them come to life when he talked about the vision for our kitchen. The contractors were there, when they said they would be and didn't leave each day until they finished and cleaned up. We hired J&M Kitchen &Bath to remodel our kitchen. Taylor was an amazing designer. She gave us so many great ideas. Everyone associated with J & M ( cabinet removall and installers, drywall repair, electricians, plumbers, tiler and countertop installers) were very thorough and cleaned up after they were finished. We will be remodeling a bathroom in the near future and will definitely give Taylor a call!

Our consultant (Neal) was responsive and professional in all things during the months it took to complete our project. He did an incredible job working with some difficult professionals/contractors, and always kept us in the loop with any changes, financial decisions, and our timeline. We have an older home (built in the 1950s) and the cabinetry team worked with integrity to adapt to the character/quirks of our home for a professional result. We also appreciated working with a company that offered high end options, great lighting choices, and other consultations while still respecting our budget and preferences. Hired JM Kitchen & Bath to provide cabinets and counter tops for a complete remodel of my kitchen. They carry a large selection of products at various price points. Our Designer, Gretchen, was the star of the show. She was able to offer insight and guidance and was extremely helpful, patient and responsive. She was client-focused and results oriented and spent her own time coming over to the job site to drop off cabinets and troubleshoot issues. I would recommend Gretchen at JM Kitchen & Bath. We worked with Mike as our Designer and Jacque as his assistant to plan and complete our new kitchen, wet bar, and mud room. They were incredibly professional, helpful and responsive throughout our project which included demo of our current areas through completion. We absolutely love our new kitchen! We would highly recommend Mike and JM Kitchen and bath for any renovation project and we will not hesitate to use them in the future for additional projects.

I hired JM Kitchen and Bath (Gretchen Lyons) for a full kitchen remodel. Gretchen was able to look at photos of kitchens or parts of kitchens I like and came up with a design that was a great starting point. What I appreciated was how she was able to understand my style almost immediately. That helped a lot with narrowing the choices right away and I never felt that she was trying to inject her own style (great though it may be!) or personal preference into what I was trying to create. That said, one great thing about hiring a designer its that they also make sure you don't do anything stupid or that you will regret - and that is worth a lot when you are spending the money to do a remodel. Gretchen struck a great balance between what I wanted and what would work in my space. Eventually I found a kitchen on Houzz that became my singular inspiration photo and Gretchen was amazing at taking the elements of what was a very high end and expensive kitchen and creating it in my space within my budget. I won’t lie - I did have to bump up my budget a bit to accommodate the design, but it was totally my decision and I never felt pressured to spend more than I was comfortable with. Remodeling an entire kitchen is a huge and overwhelming project and Gretchen was great about walking me through each step and leaving no stone unturned. She brought up things that I would have never thought about on my own (for example, placement of certain drawers/features and how they would function in the final product). She also had me do homework like listing my 'must haves' vs. 'would be nice to have'. Believe me, if you are doing a full kitchen you NEED a professional like Gretchen to help with this! It was obvious from the beginning that she knows the industry and products inside and out. It may seem like it's more expensive to hire a design company, but what is even more expensive is making big mistakes that you later regret or have to pay to fix. During the actual remodel, I was most impressed with just how quickly and easily any small mistakes (and they do happen, its the nature of the beast) were rectified. I needed 2 new drawer fronts and some new wood features, and because of the great relationships JM has with their suppliers, it happened without any questions, without any additional charges, and very quickly. The final product was just amazing! It looks great, but the best feeling was unpacking all my boxes full of kitchen stuff and finding that everything had it’s place, every drawer was used well, and there were no awkward or odd spaces that I wished I had done something different with. This kitchen is super functional and a pure joy to cook in and spend time with family and friends in as well. I highly recommend JM and Gretchen!

We had our kitchen and laundry room completely remodeled this past spring. Gretchen Lyons did an amazing job with the design. She was patient with us and continued to work with us on the design until we had the look we wanted. We absolutely love our kitchen and laundry and would not change a thing. The cabinets are gorgeous and we love all of the storage options we chose. Also, Gretchen was a wonderful resource for appliances, lighting and more. I would recommend her for any remodel in a home as J and M also does bathroom remodels.

I would like to take the opportunity to thank Gretchen for helping me design my dream bathroom! When I walked into your showroom last December I had no idea what I wanted but I knew I wanted to update my bathroom. After Gretchen saw my bathroom and understood my style and my home's personality she continually made recommendations that made sense. She was not pushy or opinionated like some of my experiences with designers. Her eye for design and seeing the end picture helped me make decisions that I would never have made and now am so happy about! My Master bathroom was totally gutted and all new tile, vanity, fixtures were installed. The only think I reused from my old bathroom was the vanity light. I Highly recommend Gretchen for your design project!

JM Kitchen, and in particular our rep Paul Preister, did a great job on our kitchen remodel. We purchased our new cabinets and appliances through them. The project went smoothly, and they even returned to add kick plates after our floors were refinished. The outcome is fantastic!

My husband and I decided to live our dream and build an ocean front home on a Caribbean island, We chose Bonaire for many reasons, but did not realize how difficult a house build would be in a foreign country that had virtually no access to modern day shopping amenities. Once we reached the finishing detail point we were faced with making selections for cabinets, tiles, granite, appliances, etc. All of which we would have to source from the U.S. After working with two cabinet designers representing Omega and having zero luck we turned to Paul Preister at J.M. Kitchen and Bath. I cannot remember how we found him since he was in CO and we were in the Caribbean. But find him we did and he was most helpful from the very beginning. After listening to the scope of our project and our horror stories with other designers I think he felt sorry for us and offered to come to Bonaire and do a walk through and measure of all of the cabinets for the house. This was a 6000 square foot house with cabinets in almost every room so it was a huge project. Paul did an excellent job of •understanding our design ideas, •using his creativity to design cabinets that were not only beautiful but functional as well, •working with us on budget considerations, •arranging for shipment of the cabinets to our freight forwarder and •assisting with installation information as we were using a local installer Years later, Paul has continued to be helpful when we have encountered some issues such as needing touch up stain for cabinets in our ocean-side pool house, etc. We would highly recommend Paul Preister and J. M Kitchen and Bath.

Complete Kitchen Remodel in 2012/2013. At the time we checked out 3 companies and settled on JM Kitchen mainly because of Paul Preister and his "thinking outside the box" approach, professionalism and diligence! Although my wife and I had an idea of how we wanted our new kitchen to look like, Paul really helped improve the vision with his ideas, numerous 3D designs and reworking the $$$ till we reached our goal! Whilst I was overseas during the actual construction, my wife was absolutely thrilled with the contractor used by JM - they were extremely meticulous, professional and a delight to work with! I was literally blown away when I finally came home and saw the final product! Our kitchen is not only gorgeous, it is very functional and has totally enhanced our home! Lastly, about a year after the project, a side panel of one of the cabinets seemed to have developed tiny lesions. My wife call Paul and he ensured a new panel was ordered and reinstalled in a timely fashion at no charge to us! In short, we are extremely happy with JM and our new kitchen. We intend to contact Paul and JM once we get ready to remodel our bathrooms.

We had a complete kitchen and family room remodel. Their design was excellent. We get very positive comments from everybody who has scene the finished product. JM Kitchen provided all cabinets and appliances. There was one cabinet misfit that was fixed promptly and with no cost to us. We would definitely use them again.

In the Spring of 2012, my wife and I decided our 1984-style kitchen was desperate for an upgrade. My initial plan was to simply pull out old cabinets and put in new ones and upgrade appliances where needed…all DIY. After some serious discussion about what this would mean in the way of time, effort, and wife support, we decided to contract some company to do the work. We soon stumbled upon J&M Kitchen and Bath and Mr. Paul Priester. On his first visit to our house, he quickly laid out a much better plan than I had envisioned: increasing floorspace, cabinet storage space, and general kitchen maneuverability. It was immediately apparent that he had the experience to implement what we wanted in a much better way than we thought. He was able to design a solution within “the art of the possible,” given our limited financial resources. Within a few weeks and after a couple of visits to his office in Castlerock, CO, we refined the plan with specifics on cabinet style, wood type, appliance brands, et al. The plan became a contract with specifics. His team soon arrived to guide us through kitchen demolition and preparation. They worked with us so that we could participate to the extent possible to minimize the overall cost. Then, his team returned to execute wiring, plumbing and install cabinets while Paul guided us through the granite selection – a process that, from our perspective, required his expertise and artful eye. The project then came together quickly and the finished product is simply superb. We’ve received so many comments on the J&M work (design and quality of materiel) that I had to ask for business cards to offer those who wanted to pursue similar efforts at their own homes. We enjoyed the results for two years, then the true value of his work was revealed when we sold our home to move to Virginia in 2014. Without question, the kitchen became the centerpiece of our home and the factor that “made the deal.” Even after leaving, we’ve been contacted by the new owner to ask for more business cards because of the number of people who’ve been impressed by the kitchen. From beginning to end and beyond, the J&M Kitchen and Bath Company, and Paul Priester in particular, can be counted upon to transform any portion of your home into a showcase of efficiency, modernity and quality. They’re experts at project management so that the individual pieces of the project come together in a timely progression that makes sense and happen with minimum disruption to your family schedule. JM Kitchen & Bath managed the complete remodel of a kitchen (including moving walls) 4 baths, a wine bar and laundry room with Omega Custom Cabinetry. This was a massive project and the outcome was outstanding. From design to final installation to follow up they were cooperative, responsive and got results. A project like this does not happen without a few glitches but they solved all of them. They were transparent with price and provided excellent value.

Paul Preister, JM Kitchen & Bath, was recommended by our contractor, Savage Construction. Paul definitely contributed product knowledge and good taste to our kitchen remodel. Paul Preister at JM Kitchen & Bath did a remarkable job of remodeling our Kitchen and family room area. We basically stripped the kitchen down to the bare walls and started from scratch with new cabinets, hardware, counter tops, appliances, lighting, flooring, tile and paint. The remodeling included the family room area as well and Paul coordinated flooring, cabinets, lighting and color. Every phase of the job was done well - from design through installation. Paul had some great design ideas, but we also had a few of our own that Paul worked into the design and budget. We'll soon be inviting Paul back for phase 2 of the project - the bathrooms!

Paul has been wonderful with which to work. I had a closer budget to meet and he held fast to the budget. He trimmed where the quality of the kitchen remodel was not affected. He has a large amount of examples for cabinets, tile, cabinet hardware. Paul has a great artistic eye and design knowledge. Yet, he is willing to work the client's ideas into that design. He is a true gentleman and positive in his interactions. His coordinating services for demolition, construction, flooring, and appliances work smoothly in a timely fashion. He is quite good at maintaining deadlines. JM kitchen and Bath and Paul will be called back to do our bathroom in the future.

Paul Preister designed my kitchen for JM Kitchen & Bath. I don't think I will be able to move from my house now because I have never seen a kitchen I like as well. Many people have said that it is the most beautiful kitchen they have ever seen. The project went smoothly and was done ahead of schedule using the contractor Paul recommended.

When we decided it was time to fulfill the dream of building a second ministry home, we committed ourselves to intentionally crafting a space with vision, beauty, excellence. A space that communicated a sense of family, love, and peace. Everyone knows that family gathers in the kitchen, and the kitchen in this home, especially, needed to be special. To that end, we certainly selected the right company to design, source, and build the beautiful rustic pecan kitchen and eight individually-designed bathroom vanities. From design, to coordination, to final punch-list work, JM Kitchen & Bath performed exceptionally with a great attitude, on time, and at an excellent price. Paul created a unique, attractive design that made the most of the existing area. We found Paul very knowledgeable about the cabinet industry as well as appliances and fixtures. The kitchen has just been completed and already we have received a number of compliments on the layout. Now, having completed the kitchen, we would choose to work with Paul again.

Juli Schuett at JM has been absolutely amazing! She has incredible vision and style, and helped me create my dream kitchen. She always had wonderful ideas, but was also great at listening to me about my needs and desires. She was very cost conscious, and did an incredible job of coordinating all the suppliers and subcontractors. My kitchen is amazing, in large part due to the work of Juli. I highly recommend her and if I ever need more design work, I would absolutely have Juli do my project.
