Joycelyn came in after being recommended by a good friend. She tore out our living room area, kitchen and dining room area. They look great. She was very exact as to when work would occur and for how long the efforts would take from start to finish, The teams she brought in to do the work were very professional and did a great job. We are the "Modern Farmhouse on her website. It turned out great !!

This is the second project I have hired Armstrong Interiors to do! The first was such an amazing transformation to our lakehome, I had to hire her again for our permanent residence! She is not judgemental and will work with any budget. I have worked with other decorators and always walked away feeling disappointed and a little intimated. Not with Armstrong interiors! She immediately assesses your surroundings and works with what you have or will suggest inserting new and fresh to ideas to freshen up your home. I love working with Armstrong Interiors!

We have used Joycelyn interiors on three different projects. Two in NC and one in Florida. She did an awesome design in all of my homes! I would most Definitely use her on any future projects. We really enjoyed working with her. She is a true professional!

We first hired Joycelyn Armstrong to redo the guest and master bathrooms. When we saw the beautiful results, we then asked her to do the master bedrooom. Each time she finished a room we would decide to add another. We ended up using her to redecorate the entire house (living room, dining room, family room, 1 additional bedroom, 2 offices and basement). Joycelyn has an incredible sense of putting colors together for a very pleasing effect. She was realistic in her estimates, both budget and time, and never went over. When a shipper delivered damaged furniture, Joycelyn handled everything for us. We were impressed by Joycelyn's ability to hear what our likes and dislikes were and to work with them. For example, she was able to hear my husband's unorthodox requests. In the master bedroom he did not want matching night tables and dressers as he claimed his need for clothes storage was a fraction of mine. Joycelyn was able to design an asymmetrical layout that we both absolutely fell in love with. It is now a year later and we love what Joycelyn did in redecorating our home.

Joycelyn Armstrong decorated my master bedroom and adjoining screened porch. Joycelyn visited my home, saw the style I enjoyed in other rooms and helped me create an idea for the bedroom. The inspiration came from a fabric she found and I loved it. Joycelyn was respectful of my wishes, my budget and pieces of my own that needed to be included in the room. Joycelyn's plan was detailed, on schedule, and within my budget. I am thrilled with the results.

We recently redecorated three rooms in our home under the design leadership of Joycelyn Armstrong. After working with a variety of interior designers over the years in seven different homes, we found Joycelyn to be a breath of fresh air. She took the time to understand our needs and lifestyle using a process that allowed us to participate in decision details without taking a lot of our time. We were extremely pleased with the final results. Jocelyn was sensitive to our cost restraints and demonstrated product knowledge and market familiarity that can only be gained through years of experience. My husband and I agonized over how to go about some major home renovations for years. This included total removal of a main wall in the home, all new flooring, and a complete gut/redesign of our kitchen. We got many quotes and layout ideas from several contractors. At the last minute we decided to interview a few interior designers. Honestly, we never intended to hire a designer, due to fact we viewed this as an unnecessary added expense. After our first meeting with Joycelyn , we both agreed without hesitation, she was needed. She presented a few unique layouts that were far superior to anything anyone else had presented. We were blown with her creativity and design, that equally emphasized functionality, and practicality. Her ideas were simply in a different class than the others we had viewed. More impressively, she casually threw out some minor "tweaks" that we never considered, and realized would provide a dimension of class we did not feel we could afford. We were in awe of how quickly she got to know what we wanted, much better than we did. Instead of us deciding between dozens of back splashes, or light fixtures, she'd bring us two or three samples to start, and without fail she nailed it with her initial samples. Her attention to detail, and coordination of materials and fixtures far exceeded our expectations. The nightmare we anticipated with major home renovations, ended up being significantly smoother than expected. In fact things were going so well, we added removal of living room built-ins, popcorn ceilings, and refacing of a fireplace to our project. The final result is amazing. We are more than a year out and I am still telling my husband on a regular basis how happy I am with our home. I also have to say, there is not one tiny design aspect I would change. I encourage anyone considering home renovations to talk to Joycelyn first. We would not consider any future home projects without her. Rather than adding to our expense, she clearly added to our home value, far beyond what we could have done on our own.
