J Style At Home

She was absolutely amazing. For over a month I’ve been struggling on picking a color for my living room, dining, and kitchen. She came over and within an hour we picked a beautiful cohesive pallet based off of my vibe and inspiration photos. It’s was more than I could imagine. Can’t wait to throw the paint down and watch her magic come to life!

We had the pleasure to work with J Style At Home on our kitchen remodel during Spring 2022. In lieu of a crowded U-shaped small kitchen, we worked closely with Jania, the Owner, on a new, open and more functional layout. Jania is a master in space planning and the ultimate result did not disappoint. She guided us thru the careful selection of cabinets, counter materials, and design/configuration with grace, patience and expertise. We are very pleased with our new kitchen and would recommend J Style At Home to anyone looking for an experienced, attentive and efficient team!

It's been 4 years since our whole house remodel . The designer was very talented . Unfortunately The cabinet production was a mess with constant/extensive delays, mistakes and incomplete shipments. Early on, cosmetic and operational problems occurred. Other than our one solid wood vanity, cabinet material is cheap with undisclosed pressed particle board that expands with moisture and improperly sealed wood veneers that splinter, bubble and warp. Their repair service is subpar and eventually non-existent. You’ll need to hire others for help. Compared to similarly priced custom cabinet shops, this company does not make quality custom cabinets that will last.

J Style designed a bathroom and a powder room for us. The designs are functional and absolutely beautiful. The rooms are timeless and unique. What really impressed us was when we had an issue with the contractor during construction was how J Style assisted in making sure the designs were completed as specified. This kind of commitment and professionalism makes home remodeling an enjoyable process. J Style is currently doing a whole house remodel design on another property. We are very excited to be working with Janina and her group again.

We recently moved to Noe Valley and had some updating to do. J style came hghtly recommend. I had a few ideas of what we wanted. But, I met with the designer jania and she was amazing. Jania is an exceptional talented and professional designer and cabinet maker. She worked with another designer and a contractor to do 2 bathroom vanities, a kitchen, and artist studio. The job was completed on time, on budget, and Above expectations. I recommend Jania without reservations for any size job. She is professional, fun, positive, and talented. Her cabinet shop puts out superior quality cabinets.

After my father passed away I faced the daunting task of rehabilitating the home I grew up in. I was very nervous, after all I had never done anything like this before and I wanted to get things right the first time. I faced a home that was like walking into a time capsule, complete with popcorn ceilings and wood paneling on the walls. Everything was mustard yellow, orange and green and blue, well you get the picture. After spending the better part of a year with other design/build firms, I had the pleasure of meeting Jania through my contractor. I fired the other designers for one simple fact. They did not listen to what I wanted. By the time I met Jania I was already in the process of gutting my home to the studs in the walls. It was the best decision I made. Jania immediately made a few quick decisions as to where to place the refrigerator in the kitchen. Small details like this make a world of difference. My architect had recommended it be placed closer to the dinning room which would have been a mistake. My home felt very narrow and confining before. She immediately saw what I needed before even I knew what I needed. She always kept resale value in mind and mass appeal just in case I ever decided to sell down the road. The color pallet she picked made my home feel bigger than it was, and enhanced the natural light. After all was said and done I was just ecstatic at the results. I would spend hours just looking at my kitchen. It was that good. I plan to use Jania again in the near future when I get around to remodeling my remaining two bathrooms and three bedrooms. And I almost forgot to mention the awesome team at J Style at Home. They worked endless hours with my contractor making sure everything fit perfectly. And she also helped me with the exterior. Picking Jania for your design needs and the crew at J Style is one decision you will not regret. They earned every penny.
