KARINA LON INTERIORS is an Interior Design and Creative Direction studio based in London, creating clean and uncluttered aesthetics curated to your personal style and needs. About Karina Karina’s design philosophy is to observe a clean and uncluttered aesthetic, complemented by the eclectic layering of the old with the new. Her aim is to create spaces that are not only beautiful and timeless, but also purpose-built and most importantly, driven by her clients’ needs and personalised style. For her, design becomes truly meaningful when the end result feels absolutely right for the person living in it. For the past 15 years, she has worked on her own and as Senior Interior Designer and Design Manager for prominent London-based designers and developers. In that time, she experienced working on small and large scale projects both local and overseas, while building a network of highly-talented and trustworthy craftsmen and suppliers. She recognises that any project, no matter the size, can be overwhelming. Her intention is to offer carefully considered and straightforward creative design solutions that put clients at ease and help them to enjoy the process. It has been a delight working with Karina. From the very beginning she understood better than we did what we were trying to achieve with our extension. We were making a big addition to our house and a significant financial investment in our home, and we really wanted to make sure we were happy with the final result. Hiring Karina was the best choice we made in the whole project. She was passionate about the vision she had for the space, yet endlessly patient with us as we got up to speed. She has consistently come back with alternative options when we couldn't decide and has helped us make choices that we would never have had the confidence to do without her support. I have always had an idea what my dream house would look like, but Karina showed me to dream bigger. I now have a home so much better than what I imagined. She is resourceful (even helped me find the best builder!) and her taste is exquisite. She presents you with the best options for you even if you don’t know it yet. Honestly, there were choices that I wasn’t always 100% sure about but I just trusted her and it turned out more beautiful than what I wanted. She is a true expert. She is a great partner to have as she makes the process fun. She communicates well with you and the suppliers. We really saw her effort in making sure we got what works best for us. She gave us amazing value on the items we chose but also from her overall service. However, Karina’s greatest strength is that she cared so much for us and our new beautiful home. She invested a lot of time and energy in making sure that everything is just right. The feeling of peace when everything came together so wonderfully is so priceless and it was because Karina orchestrated that. We are forever grateful to her.

Karina was fantastic from start to finish. Professional, with a good eye for detail and great technical skills, she was understanding and enthusiastic from the get go. Karina designed a functional and sophisticated look for our Docklands home in East London including the hallway, open plan kitchen/dining/living and main bedroom. We started the process with a long list of how we hoped to use these spaces, and yet a limited idea of the aesthetic. Karina took what we were able to give, presenting different layouts and schemes to help develop the final view. She listened to our requirements and feedback throughout this process, gently steering our family towards achieving clean lines, a smart, modern and harmonious look throughout the apartment. At an early stage of the design process we went into lockdown and Karina responded by providing remote consultations - these resulted in detailed diagrams, links to source items and fabric samples arriving to make the experience stress free. We were able to retain furniture pieces important to us, which helped from a sentimental and budget perspective. Almost every aspect of the design - the overall layout, wall paint, cabinet scheme, tiles, worktop, ironmongery, mirrors, lighting, sofa etc benefited from the guidance we received from Karina as part of the design process. Definitely recommend working with Karina - totally worth it!

Karina helped me with my 3 bedroom apt in Chelsea, London. Since I live in Singapore it was a challenge to do everything online but Karina did everything so flawlessly that she made it stress free for me. Karina was highly competent, trustworthy, pro-active and was always a step ahead in the process. I was a bit nervous about doing all of it long distance but Karina was so good that I felt confident with her abilities almost immediately. She delivered top notch service in a professional, timely, and perhaps most importantly for people who have to do this all remotely like I did-- she was trustworthy. I started working with Karina almost 10 years ago. It started because everytime I would ask help from friends, most would recommend her. She redid my whole house because I wanted a fresh new look. She takes the time to understand your style and what will work best for you. She uses current furniture as much as needed so as not to exceed your budget. Her work is practical and the pieces that she chooses are classic. I would definitely recommend her!

We hired Karina to work on our two homes. After working with her on our first home, we were certain we wanted her again for our second home. We love working with her because of her ability to create beautiful yet very practical and useful spaces. We trust her style and design and she has never failed to impress. As we are based in Bristol, with both houses, she mainly worked on the interior design remotely and based her work on the floor plans and measurements we gave and lots of photos and video calls. We were impressed with how she managed to imagine the spaces without physically seeing it and come up with interior design ideas that suited the style we had envisioned. She is such a lovely person to work with. We wouldn't hesitate to recommend her at all.

We hired Karina to do our living room and two bedrooms in our condo unit. First of all, I really liked her taste, clean, simple, and very much coordinated. She was very detailed in the concept presentation process and it made us feel more comfortable with what the outcome would be. She communicated frequently with us during the building phase making sure we were in sync. I hope she keeps this up. I was very pleased with the result.

Karina Cortez Ion was our Interior Decorator in our East Tower unit located in One Serendra, BGC, Philippines. We were more than grateful she accepted this project inspite of the logistical challenges. Karina was based in London, we lived in Singapore and the designated contractor was in the Philippines.
