My builder uses Houzz Pro to plan the timeline and give detailed estimates and daily updates with photos of progress, and provide invoices at pre-agreed key points in the build. This made the whole experience much more efficient and stress-free.

The Elements has over 14000 square feet of retail space in two showrooms; a design center with a staff of 8 designers; custom furniture from Norwalk, Justice, Moroni Leather, Lexington, Highland House, Hooker, Sam Moore and many more; over 10000 fabric choices; rugs from Feizy, Loloi, Jaunty, Surya, Jaipur and Chandra; a large collection of home accessories and gifts; one of Iowa's largest collections of artwork; bedding, bed and bath accessories, linens, towels and rugs. Guests at The Elements enjoy The Boutique and The Kitchen House featuring flatware, dinnerware, glassware, chef’s tools, towels, Breville appliances, Iowa wines and gourmet foods.

Your store in Ankeny is beautiful and the staff is very friendly. A great place to get decor and design ideas.

We are 100% focused on customer service, but it seems like the follow thru on this didn't meet our - and more importantly your - expectations. We will look into this internally to better determine what happened and how we can avoid this in the future.

Please know that it is never our intention for clients to fall through the cracks. We understand the importance of scheduling, especially when construction is involved. I have worked with Elements by K Sorbe since they have came to Ankeny. Their selection in price points and products are fantastic! It looks very high end with great style but you can find very affordable pieces also. They are great in making a whole room come together. The staff and designers are friendly and knowledgeable! What a great asset to Ankeny! I have bought several statement pieces there and will continue to shop there!

I used The Elements at Prairie Trail to help with holiday decorations in my home. They used my collections and added items to update and raise the level of style. I was very happy with the way they (especially Ryan) listened to my wishes and budget! I am on my way to the store today to arrange for them to come in and give my great room an update. The Elements certainly goes “beyond expectations”!

We hired Elements to come and help us redo our dining room. They were very helpful in picking out paint colors, giving advice and did an excellent job decorating. I left one day while they came to stage the house. I came back and was floored by the results!! It was absolutely beautiful! The staff is great to work with and are always available to answer questions. We have been very satisfied with the services that they provided and will continue to work with them as we make our house our home.

Such an amazing find right here in Ankeny! The Elements is unlike any other store you will find in the Des Moines Metro. Kathy and her team are incredible. You simply must stop in and see the store and meet them for yourself!

The experience working with Elements by K's Ankeny Prairie Trail location far exceeded my expectations. Kathy and her team made a "house call" and I love their design ideas using my own furniture while adding in pieces from their store. I can't believe how it opened up my area in the kitchen, making it feel so much more spacious and inviting! And their book shelf design was phenomenal. Her team was effortless to work with, which I appreciated so much with my busy travel schedule. I can't wait to work with Elements again.

Every time we have had Elements come and help us redesign space, remodel, add a few pieces for a new look....to our home and business......we have been 100+% happy with the results! Total professionalism to help achieve what the customer wants...but also to keep us on track and not make mistakes. We have worked with Kathy Sorbe for almost 13 years on various projects, small and large. She and her staff are simply THE BEST. We are so fortunate to have her in our area!!

If I could give Elements 10 STARS...I would! Kathy and Staff are amazing and sooooo wonderful to work with!!!! They have helped me transform my business and my house! As a busy mom and business owner I don't have time to shop out of town....I put all my trust in Elements and I know I will love EVERYTHING they do! We are so lucky to have this business in Storm Lake! Elements is by far my fave store to shop!!!

Wow! What a hidden gem in this Iowa community. The creative talent of the designers is evident from the moment you walk into the studio. I am a vendor with product sold in the store. Not only is Kathy and her staff a delight to work with, they also donate the proceeds of my product to a local animal shelter! Not only are they talented, their giving spirit is refreshing and inspirational.
