I did a lot of research before selecting Keystone Custom Builders. I made the right decision. My new master suit is beautiful. Everyone I worked with was organized, reliable, and responsive to my needs. They also came by daily to check on work being done by subcontractors and immediately addressed any concerns. The whole team was great. I will hire them again if/when I have another project, and sincerely recommend them to anyone looking for a contractor, old house remodel or new home.

We have used Keystone for 3 separate projects now and would not hesitate to use them again. We hired them for a large project adding on over 1300 sq.feet involving both sides of our ranch style home. Jarred and his team were very knowledgeable, professional and accommodating to our family. We were able to remain living in our house while one side was under construction and then move to the other side while the other side was worked on. It really amazed us that we didn’t have to move out. The attention to detail, time efficient scheduling and high expectations of the subcontractors was very impressive. We recently completed a large kitchen remodel after water damage in the past year. Again, Jarred and his team were impressive. There were challenges, including removing trusses in order to vault the ceiling.. Thank you Jarred for encouraging us to vault the ceiling, what a difference!!! We are loving our new space and can’t say enough about your expertise. We highly recommend Keystone for your building projects.

KCB completed a 900 S.F. interior master suite remodel for us that started in April 2021 and ended in July 2021. This project involved design, demo, and multiple specialized contractors that resulted in an exceptional final product. My wife and I are both extremely satisfied with the results. In a time when supply lines were substantially disrupted from COVID, our project stayed on-budget and within expected timelines. Jarred and Nick were excellent at maintaining communication with us on our project so everything turned out as expected. As most remodels do, ours came with some surprises, but everything was navigated well and with no impact to final results. I would highly recommend KCB for your remodel needs.

Our decision to hire Keystone Custom Builders, Inc. as the contractor for our new home construction was definitely the right choice. From our initial meeting with Jarred, we were convinced he would manage and oversee our building project with the expertise and attention to detail we were looking for. Throughout the building process, we were impressed with the professionalism and exceptional skill levels of both the Keystone associates and the sub-contractors hired to do the physical work. With each step of the project, we were kept informed of the progress with resources such as an online scheduling calendar, updated construction photos, and weekly meetings. Their quality and knowledge of construction of our new house was outstanding. Every little detail was contemplated and executed. The subcontractors were the highest quality. Every deadline under their control was met and the house came in slightly under budget. Keystone is very detailed orientated and strives for perfection. They had employee’s onsite daily to manage the construction and did an excellent job. Could not be happier with the final result. We had two small issues after construction completion and they were corrected immediately.

Hired this company to do over $100,000 remodel. Everything is a disaster! From the plumbing to the electrical to the painting to all of the final finishes. Have had to spend more money after they completed, to fix the mistakes that they made! There is no leadership in this company; no person who walks through the final finish and goes over the subcontractors' work who they hired to do the work, as they don't have their own in-house contractors. The owner sits around with his feet up on his desk!! WOULD NEVER RECOMMEND THIS COMPANY AT ALL!!! BEWARE!!!

Jarred Eddy, the Owner of Keystone Custom Builders, spoke to this client over the phone on 1/5/16 at 11:14 AM, at which point the client expressed dissatisfaction in the products and services he had received. Jarred offered to meet with the client at the clients earliest convenience in order to resolve any complaints he had, and encouraged him to send a list of items that the client felt needed correction so that the proper personnel could be organized to take care of said issues. The client said that due to the sensitive nature of the business he conducts, no tradesmen could enter the house. The client never sent a list and never contacted the Owner of Keystone Custom Builders following that phone conversation.
On February 29, 2016, Carrie Frazier, Keystone Custom Builders Office Manager, arranged to meet with this client and perform a walk through to compile a list of the complaints that the client had. On that same day, Monday February 29th at 2:40 pm, the client was then emailed the list generated by Keystone as a result of that walk through, with this direction:
"Xxxxx,

Thank you for meeting with me today. I know you are busy so I do appreciate the opportunity to review the punch list for your home. I have attached a copy for your review. Feel free to add or edit as you see fit.

Please return a signed and dated copy at your soonest for my records. Let me know if there is anything else I can do for you.

I have also attached a picture of the office walls prior to Keystone Custom Builders painting them.

That punch list and work order was never signed by the client and we never have heard from that client since...until now.
Even though it has been over a year and two months since the work was completed, if this client would like Keystone Custom Builders to still resolve any complaints, Please call the Owner Jarred Eddy at 970-243-9428 ext 2, and he would be happy to meet with you in person to help resolve your complaints.

Keystone Custom Builders is terrific. They helped us design and build a beautiful new custom home. As two engineers trying to figure out how to build a custom home, we determined a professional builder was the way to go and diligently set out to evaluate the builders in our area. KCB and another came out on top. KCB was selected because we were able to look at a beautiful home near us that they'd built and also because of their bid process where they bid with multiple subcontractors. KCB cleanly organized the budget, kept us in our cost window, assisted in countless design/cost/fixture selections, and kept detailed records of expenses and schedule. Their subcontractors were professional, efficient, helpful, and did high quality work. The foreman was particularly excellent in breadth of knowledge and experience, attention to detail, and incredible work ethic-not to mention sense of humor. This job had its moments as all custom builds do. Keystone handled these with integrity, professionalism, and grace. We are just so pleased!

My husband and I worked with Jarred at Keystone for our custom house in Glade Park. Our house presented some construction challenges since it was in a remote area and built on rock. Keystone had the knowledge and the professional resources to make the foundation work and build go very smoothly, without surprises. Jarred was able to give us good advice on how to maximize our heating and cooling with solar and in-concrete-floor heating and we have yet to have any electricity bills! Jarred was also able to give us design suggestions, based on our somewhat unusual Spanish style plans. They even found a unique reclaimed wood piece for my entry niche shelf. We love it!!! Good communication was critical since we were living out of state. Jarred was consistently quick with email or phone responses to our questions. He and the construction supervisor also sent us tons of photos of the project. We loved the website updates, too. Keystone was very honest and upfront about expected costs before we signed the contract. The project came in on budget. Our house was finished within the time estimate, in spite of a very unfortunate health emergency that took our lead contractor/site supervisor off the project---not even a week's delay. Keystone was very professional and easy to work with throughout the project, and we love our house!
