We completed our 1,000-square-foot home addition with Lamorinda Construction in 2023, and the project was finished on time and within budget. Working with Kari and Lance was a fantastic experience—they were transparent, communicative, and truly invested in delivering a high-quality result. We struggled to find a way to seamlessly incorporate a pool bath into our layout, but Kari proposed a brilliant solution that we loved. She then collaborated with our architect to bring the vision to life. In addition, friends and visitors consistently compliment how natural our addition looks—there’s no visible indication that it wasn’t part of the original home. 2. Hands-On Project Management – Kari was on-site every day, ensuring every detail was executed to the highest standard. If any issues arose, she communicated them promptly and worked to resolve them efficiently. 3. A Top-Tier Team – Kari surrounds herself with the best professionals, both within her own team and among her subcontractors. Everyone involved went above and beyond their scope to ensure we were completely satisfied with the final result. 4. Commitment to Quality & Warranty Support – Even after the project was completed, Kari remained committed to standing by her work. When a small ceiling crack developed due to normal settling, her team promptly repaired it at no cost. Beyond the exceptional workmanship, Kari and Lance are simply wonderful people. We can’t imagine going through those five months without them, and we’re so grateful for the experience!

Kari and Lance are true professionals and I would definitely use them again. I am writing this review over year after they completed our total home renovation. I think it's important to see how a contractor responds to any issues post project before writing anything. We had one issue with a painter and Kari stayed on top of it, communicated with me regularly and got the problem resolved to my satisfaction. We love how our home turned out! Kari had great suggestions, was invaluable at helping us with the myriad of decisions that go with a home reno and was easy to work with. Our project was done on time and budget. Lamorinda Construction recently completed a whole home update/remodel for us and we could not be more thrilled with the results. We were initially very anxious about the scope of the project but as soon as we invited Kari and Lance to walk through our home, we knew we were in great hands and began to get excited about the possibilities! They had practical and inventive ideas and always kept our budget in mind by recommending updates that would give us the biggest bang for our buck. We weren’t able to be in town during the bulk of the remodel but they communicated really well with us and we felt comfortable having them manage the project. They were always immediately accessible when we had questions and wanted to share input and we always felt they had our very best interests at heart. They handled absolutely everything, including landscaping the entire yard, which wasn’t something we’d planned to do, but once we saw how amazing the house was looking, we knew we had to get the yard in shape, too. To say we are thrilled with the results would be an understatement and I will honestly miss them and their friendly, highly professional crew. I would enthusiastically recommend them to anyone looking for a talented contractor. I wish I had another project for them!

Great contractors who are available on short notice are hard to find in the Bay Area. Lamorinda came out and provided us with a bunch of useful info and quote, and were willing to work on a very quick timeline. Plus their completed projects look amazing!

I hired Lamorinda Construction to do a lengthly remodel of a recently purchased house.... they were extremely professional, on time, and creative in all aspects of the process. We had such a successful experience that we further hired them to do a complete installation of our outside yards, including pool remodel, hardscape and plantings. I love my new bathroom and working with Kari and Lance was great. They are extremely professional and capable and did all the work we needed in a very timely manner.
