Kirby Mast of Hartville Hardware

We were so pleased to be able to work with Kirby on the design and renovation of our kitchen in 2025. We have a century home that is arts and crafts style in West Akron. Kirby took the time to come out to the house to take measurements and pictures. He worked on the layout of the kitchen with us and was able to give us advice on choosing the materials that fit the style of our home. Even though we used our own contractor, Kirby was always available to answer questions and help us problem solve. We now have the long awaited kitchen of our dreams and we would definitely recommend Kirby. Our overall experience was excellent and we really enjoyed working with him.

I had the pleasure of meeting Kirby when we decided to have Hartville Hardware evaluate our kitchen remodel project. He came to our house and was able to develop a kitchen and pantry design that was exactly as I had imagined. Now that the renovation has been complete I can see the value and beauty of his many suggestions. He recommended styles that I would not have thought of and the result is beautiful. The space is completely efficient AND gorgeous. He was attentive during the whole project as well. He was very quick to respond to communications and ensure the work went smoothly. We interviewed four contractors to remodel our bathroom and kitchen. The big difference was that shopping for all the products needed for the remodeling. Kirby led us through a large collection of choices, everything from gas stoves to flooring, showers, tile, countertops, exhaust, just all the choices that we needed to make in one place. Kirby gave us his full attention and plenty of personal time helping us make good decision. He orchestrated six different contractors without a single glitch and these contractors that Hartville Hardware employ are both masterful craftsmen, but also a pleasure to work with in our home. Kirby Mast helped us realize the kitchen and bathroom we always wanted, thank you Kirby!

Kirby was really great to work with on our kitchen remodel. He was very responsive to all of our questions and concerns and always quick to answer emails and phone calls. I am writing to highly recommend Kirby for your home project. We had a small kitchen that needed a total renovation. Besides be knowledgeable and skilled at his craft, he was so easy to work with. He took the time to get to know our likes and dislikes. He communicated with us in a timely fashion , addressing all of our questions and concerns. He never made us feel hurried when we were meeting to discuss the design or choosing the materials. He was able to design the kitchen to get the most use from our small space. The kitchen is not only beautiful, but it feel spacious and is much more functional. From start to finish this process was made easier because of Kirby’s guidance and skills.

Kirby assisted us with the design of our kitchen. We changed the design multiple times and he was very patient as we made our changes. He ensured that the backsplash and grout matched, the cabinets fit, and we were pleased with everything before the design was finalized. He spent many hours with us and was not pushy.

Kirby Mast did an excellent job helping us with our bathroom renovation. He was very friendly, professional and offered many good suggestions. He took his time with us on our meetings as we often changed our minds on products and fixtures. We never felt pressured. The installers did a fantastic job with their workmanship. Kirby helped guide us through a countertop and backsplash purchase and installation for a kitchen in a barndominium. He was excellent to work with providing us with ideas and giving us time to make our decision. Not a high pressure sales person he works with you to make sure you get what you hope for on meeting your goal. Measuring and installation crews were craftsman that focused on doing it right and meeting your expectations. A great experience from start to finish.
