Kitchen Express II, LLC

Christina at Kitchen Express 2 was wonderful to work with. After visiting and talking with 6 other vendors I am extremely happy with having selected Christina as my designer and the company Kitchen Express 2. She was very patient and provided good guidance on my selections as well as her educated opinions. I am so happy with my new galley kitchen. The boss Dave and the guys who did the install were neat and terrific.

We hired Kitchen Express II to provide the design for a kitchen remodel. David and his staff were extremely helpful and creative throughout the process. Cabinets arrived on time and were of fine quality. The craftsmanship of the cabinets and counters was excellent. Cabinets and counters were installed with exact precision. We highly recommend Kitchen Express II for anyone undertaking a kitchen remodel. We certainly would use them again.

Kitchen Express II in Mendon is the best place in the whole Rochester, NY area to get top quality kitchen outfitting material, and to get a first-class kitchen remodel done. The owners, the Allertons, are honest and conscientious people who run an impressive business. Dave (store owner) carefully designed a kitchen for our very large and challenging space. We feel that Dave listened very attentively to our expressed desires and came up with a great plan. We had a hard time trying to form our own ideas because the house is very out of the ordinary and difficult to harmonize. We liked Dave's design, and we went with his recommendation for the contractor to manage our project. The cabinetry (Candlelight Co.) was reasonably priced and we feel it is nothing inferior to anything else out there. The countertops were perfect. The whole job was followed through as promised. We truly believe that we could have spent twice as much money and not have done better. Thanks Dave, Mark, and all of your team!

Melissa did an amazing job with our kitchen remodel. My first thought was, "I can't afford a kitchen designer". When she came out to look at my kitchen, she looked at the space we were working with, listened to my ideas and needs and then made excellent suggestions for the design. Her idea to put the stove on a different wall and use it as a focal point was an excellent idea. She also suggested angled cabinets near the door to enlarge the entrance area, which was a great bonus for us. She worked with my budget to get the features I wanted in the cabinets and made it affordable. It was a pleasure working with her.

We build a new home and used Kitchen Express or the entire kitchen and bathroom countertops and cabinets. The entire experience was fantastic from start to finish. Dave, the owner helped every step of the way. When he had times to meet us at the vendor show rooms he did, if he wasn't able to be present, he made sure to check in. We were never pressed to choose a certain style. Instead we were given pros and cons of every option and were able to find the best option for our budget, designing needs and quality. We loved the vast array of styles classic to ultra modern. We couldn't be happier with the final product.

Love working with these guys. Easy to deal with, get the back up and assistance I need when I need it. We have done a number of projects with Kitchen Express over the past year and truly enjoy each one.

Outstanding company. Beautiful cabinetry and Dave Allerton is wonderful to work with. He communicates well and really listened to what I wanted. Everything came in on time and on budget. At first, what looked like a daunting process was made very easy. I would highly recommend Kitchen Express II.

Kitchen Express did a good enough job. I did feel like I was being misled at times, particularly with my counter tops, but I am relatively pleased with the final result.

This was my first kitchen remodel and the first time I worked with a designer. I tried to tackle the job on my own but soon found I was too busy and too confused to accomplish the project on my own. I expected to be steered to more expensive products and could not envision how someone could design a space for me. I am so glad that I found Melissa at Kitchen Express II, LLC. She had access to a full price range of products, a very complete showroom and was full of very helpful, practical advice. She handled the cabinetry and hardware, countertop, sink and faucet, and provided design ideas for the floor, paint colors and backsplash. The business has convenient hours and location, and she was always available by email. She also recommended a contractor who was efficient and skilled. I would highly recommend this business, and Melissa in particular.

We had a major remodel of our kitchen, and it is stunning. We worked with Melissa who designed a kitchen that was functional in every aspect; it was impressive how well she understood exactly what we were looking for. We found all the staff from KE II to be courteous, skillful, and completely dependable. The installers for the cupboards, countertops, and appliances did an outstanding job, and the coordination of it all by KE II was flawless. They were on the mark with the costs, as well as their timeframes. There was excellent communication throughout the remodel, and they were committed to making sure it was exactly what we wanted. The Candlelight cabinets are a beautiful product - worth the cost. We would [and already have!] recommend KE II to anyone considering a kitchen upgrade.

We were first time homebuilders in the summer of 2013. Our contractor recommended dealing with Dave Allerton and Kitchen Express II for our kitchen and bathroom designs, cabinetry and countertops. We met frequently with Dave as we explored various alternatives, often changing our outlook after Dave recommended changes to make the open architecture kitchen and dining area more accommodating to our needs. He was accessible and always willing to work within our expressed preferences, but he was not afraid to steer us to consider different approaches when he thought the end result would appeal to us. In other words, he soon came to know us and our thinking well. Our construction timetable was a quick one, and Dave and his crew delivered on time. Dave and his company also repped various lines of kitchen appliances, and although we originally scoped out other alternatives as recommended by our contractor, we ended up going with Kitchen Express as we sought greater efficiency in the construction and installation process. It worked out well. We were very happy with the entire process, from sitting down at the design table to seeing the end product after installation.
