KJ Custom Screens & Outdoor Living

KJ Custom Screens installed our solar screen for the JetStream Outdoor Cooling Showroom and we are loving it!! Our patio faces the west sun so it is brutal in the afternoons. With the screen, it has completely transformed our patio to be able to use it at all times of the day! We have partnered with KJ Custom Screens and Teresa on many outdoor projects and have always had nothing but great experiences. Highly recommend!! Having moved to Texas during the summer, we wanted to maximize the use of our exterior rear patio during the warmer months without worrying about annoying insects. We also have two cats and wanted to have an outdoor area they could enjoy without fear of them wandering off and getting lost. We had looked online at a few options but most patio screens seemed to block out a lot of natural sunlight, which wasn't our goal. We asked neighbors and our real estate agent for referrals and were recommended to contact KJ Custom Screens by a number of people....and we're very thankful for their recommendations. Teresa at KJ Custom Screens, along with the sales office support and installation teams, were all amazing to work with. Every detail was covered including the specific dimensions of our exterior home (in particular how to accommodate an usual property shape due to an exterior fireplace), the best type of screen material to maintain interior natural sunlight, and matching the screen hardware color to our exterior property paint color. And we couldn't be happier with the end result. The screen is not visible when raised and does everything we hoped when lowered. When we did have a minor issue with the operation of the screen, it was fixed within 24 hours. Teresa has since followed up with us a number of times just to make sure everything is working fine so from start to finish, this has been a wonderful experience. The patio screen is worth every dollar given the quality and durability of the screen...... and since being installed we're finding out that one of our new favorite things to do at home is enjoying dining out on our very own screened in patio.

We used KJ Designs to install 5 separate motorized screens in our cabana and loved their work. they made it out when the builder needed them out and worked well with the contractor throughout the process.
