My builder uses Houzz Pro to plan the timeline and give detailed estimates and daily updates with photos of progress, and provide invoices at pre-agreed key points in the build. This made the whole experience much more efficient and stress-free.

Kevin is the best contractor we have ever worked with. We regularly recommend him to our friends and family and hope to do business with him again in the future. We had a serious structural issue we needed to get fixed (due to us purchasing the house from a bad flipper). Throughout the entire process Kevin and Michelle had great communication and constantly went above and beyond what was expected. They presented creative solutions that allowed us to stay in our house and still have use of our kitchen. Additionally, they expedited the entire process since we had kids on the way and needed the project to be done before they were born. They have extremely high standards for their work and we're very happy with the entire process.

Clayton and Kelsey,
Reading your review truly meant a lot — thank you for taking the time to share your experience.
If we’re being honest, working with you both made us reflect on the kind of clients we want to build with moving forward. From day one, there was mutual trust, clear communication, and genuine gratitude — and that combination is rare. Your confidence in us to navigate a complex structural issue, especially with babies on the way, didn’t go unnoticed. You trusted us to protect your home and your family’s timeline, and that level of trust pushes us to operate at our highest standard. The way you handled the process — your decisiveness, your appreciation for the team, even your promptness with invoices — played a major role in how smoothly everything came together. Projects are always a partnership, and you were exceptional partners.
We would glady work with you again and truly hope our paths cross on another project in the future.
Thank you again for allowing us to be part of such an important chapter in your lives.

From day one, Kevin took on a challenging project with confidence and care. We purchased the property fully aware it would take significant effort to transform it into what we envisioned—working within a tight budget, strict timeline, and multiple inspections along the way. Kevin not only passed every major inspection on the first attempt, but also brought creative and practical ideas that helped us save money while still maximizing the potential of a very complex build. He was a true partner throughout the process—collaborative, transparent, and genuinely invested in doing things the right way. Although the project ultimately ran a few months longer than planned due to factors outside of Kevin’s control—weather delays and new city requirements—he handled every challenge head-on and consistently dedicated his time and effort to keep things moving and properly prepared. We would absolutely use him again. Kevin genuinely cares about the project, and we never once felt pressured into decisions we weren’t comfortable with. He consistently worked to deliver what he promised, and when something wasn’t possible, he always came prepared with a thoughtful alternative solution to discuss.

Kevin and Michelle treated our new home and project as though it was their own. Michelle designed our lighting and kitchen with so much more detail and functionality than I pictured. We had a very tight turn around and needed to move into our new home quickly. The scope of our project was a lot on the timeline and required a fool proof schedule and reliable crew. All of the people who worked our home were respectful, professional and did awesome work. They communicated regularly and clearly so we always understood what was happening every step of the way. Kevin and Michelle renovated our kitchen, guest bath, added lighting to our dining and living room, new floors throughout, some adjustments to ceiling height and doors to open up the dining room, repiped our whole home, new water heater, new furnace, new toilets and more. Our project was on time and on budget and we are so grateful. We will 100% be coming back for our bathroom remodels when we are ready. I am so grateful I found them.

Your positive energy and clear communication made the process smooth and enjoyable for our entire team. It means a lot to hear that you felt cared for every step of the way.
We can’t wait to collaborate again when it’s time for the bathroom remodels — until then, enjoy your beautiful home!

We couldn’t have asked for a better team to build our first home. We came in with a clear vision… vintage, cozy, and 1970s style. Kevin & Michelle not only listened with patience, but added seamless creativity to our ideas. We’re beyond grateful for the dedication and care they put into every detail of our build. We learned so much from them throughout the process. We love our beautiful little home!

Kevin & Michelle did an outstanding job remodeling our 1917 original beach bungalow in Redondo Beach. We had a specific style in mind, to keep things period correct to 1970. We have a small house so attention to detail mattered. They hit the nail on the head with the craftsmanship and timeline. They were open to our out of the box ideas and worked well with our time. We have another project coming up and we will be using them again. Thanks KMCD!
