KMR Arts + KM Installations
KMR Arts, founded in 2007, is a fine art gallery specializing in fine art photography. Appealing to both the established collector and the first time buyer, KMR Arts continues to create an atmosphere that is inviting and smart. Owner Kathy McCarver says, “My goal for this gallery is to engage and enlighten with works for my clients.” McCarver is a photography dealer and consultant, working with individual and corporate clients to purchase and install fine art photography. An avid collector herself, she gained her experience over two decades while working as a photography editor for books (monographs of Lillian Bassman and David Seymour/Chim, Weekend Retreats, Rizzoli, 2008) and prestigious magazines (Esquire, US Weekly, and InStyle).

KM Installations is the culmination of Kathy McCarver's 30 years of experience in photo editing, and consulting. “My services include framing, transporting, and installing artwork of all sizes. No installation is too big or too small. I can assemble a team tailor made to the client’s needs.” Recent installations include: Greenwich residence, Relais Chateaux country inn, West Village Manhattan townhouse. My team's tailored approach meets the client’s needs whether the project is a creating a salon style picture wall of personal photographs, artfully hanging a collection of favorite items, or placing an unwieldy piece of artwork in just the right spot. Professional picture hanging and art installation enhances the aesthetic of the art ensuring the correct balance, height, and proportion. It is subtle, but essential. "I love working with clients to create the experience of living with art and personal treasures."
