Recently worked with KMSalter Design for a main floor renovation, including kitchen. Krista was professional from start to finish. She kept everything on-task and on-budget, and provided smart recommendations along the way that took the project to the next-level. She also connected us with a network of professional trades throughout the project, saving us time and money. I would never again tackle a major renovation project without a designer, and my first call would be to KMSalter Design!

From our first meeting with Krista, she showed professionalism, her ability to listen and understanding of our needs and budget. She returned with a design that was above and beyond our expectations. Her suggestions and ideas gave us a kitchen that we never ever expected. She hooked us up with Flor Contacting and Hamilton Holmes Woodworking and Design. She was in close contact with them through out the construction to be sure our needs and budget were met. Both companies were a joy to work with. Working with Krista was great! We worked with Krista on a main floor renovation and it turned out better than we could have imagined. Prior to meeting Krista my wife and I struggled to come up with a vision of what we wanted our main floor to look like. Krista came in and combined our styles perfectly. She gave us plenty of ideas to work with that we would have never thought of and in no time we had a new floor plan to work with. The best part was bringing it all together. As each piece arrived and was installed the main floor kept getting better to the point where it is now completed and the whole family loves it. Krista is a pleasure to work with and we can't wait to save up for another project so we can work with her again.

First and foremost, Krista is positive, genuine and fun to work with. We have a sweet little house in the country, with little rooms. Our living room interior design requirements were just too difficult for me to figure out. I called Krista. She was so much more capable than other designers, who seemed to have difficulty understanding a small room out in the country. Who also seemed geared up for a huge project, not my sweet little living room. Krista came out, and almost immediately seemed to understand the vibe of our home. She helped me create a room design that was not only gorgeous, calming, funky, but also very affordable. She created the room design and suggested where I could source furniture from. Some were places I had never ventured into, but given the guidance, I was able to find exactly what the room needed to shine. So long story short, that room has quickly become the most loved room in our home. If we renovate the upstairs of our home, I know I will be calling Krista once again.

Great work!!!! We had krista add finishing touches (wall art/design) small furniture pieces and accessories to my husbands new office and she did a fabulous job!!! She was so much fun to work with and had some great ideas!!!! Would highly recommend her. Krista's knowledge and work ethic was excellent and was very accommodating with schedules.

We are in the process of completing a 2 floor reno project. Krista is still advising on an ongoing basis with the overall cohesive look. She initially gave us the design with brilliant solutions for our master closet, family room and kitchen. Krista is personable, knowledgeable, easygoing and simply a joy to work with, offering whatever level of service her client requests. She kept us focused, helped us source out materials and decor items and was a sane rock during the crazy reno madness. I would not hesitate in recommending her for any type of project., large or small.

We're so happy with our new kitchen and owe so much of that to KMSalter Design. We had no idea where to start with the renovations until we met with Krista. She talked us through the process, sketched out a design, helped us choose materials and colours and find the right businesses to work with, including a great contractor. The time and money KMSalter Design saved us on this project more than made up for the cost of their services.

I had no idea what to expect when I contacted KMSalter Design (I really liked a kitchen on houzz and then realized by coincidence that they are nearby). If you're doing a reno, I highly recommend working with someone like Krista. She took the stress out of making major decisions by narrowing the scope of options while supporting the vision we had for the space. The result is exactly what we wanted and I wouldn't think of undertaking a project big or small without her sound advice. She's very accessible and highly professional.

This is the second house renovation we did with KMSalter Design. We keep praising Krista's vision and her incredible talent. She spent only 2 hours outlining the entire house renovation. All I had to do was to apply some manpower. Results were speaking for themselves - 4 days on the market sold for asking (substantially higher than pre-renovation) price.

I can't speak enough highly of this incredibly down to earth beyond talented and kind designer. We hired Krista to remodel our entire home. She was so professional, provided us multiple options of floor plans and styles based on our visions and was able to execute perfectly the vision we had created for our space. She was incredibly efficient and helpful and always made herself available for consults. She made the entire process painless and enjoyable. She was absolutely reliable and helpful every step of the way. I could say countless reasons to hire Krista as a designer and there is nothing negative to say.
