Kari was an absolute treasure in our large landscaping project. She gave us ideas where we had none and also incredible in incorporating the ideas we did have. She gave us several great recommendations for landscapers and supported the project all the way through to completion. 100% recommend (& already have with friends) for both redo and new landscape designs.

I worked with Kari of lilydesign for a new construction project. She was excellent to work with. She met with me to discuss the property and vision. She reviewed images of what I was looking for. We met at the site to review the property's unique qualities - direction of the sun, prevailing winds, location of other houses, the look of our home. She took careful measurements of the site. She created a working plan for us that was visionary and unique. We worked together virtually and in person to finalize plans, plant choices, hardscape options, planters, pool house design, etc. She facilitated finding appropriate landscape and concrete specialists to complete the work. We met at other sites to review options. Kari was so easy to work with, very professional and responsive. She used her extensive knowledge of plants and design to create a beautiful plan that works for us. It is unique and works so well for our home and our climate. She is a supreme professional who is so knowledgeable and creative. I highly recommend Kari and lilydesign for any landscape project.

From the initial consultation to the final result Kari was more than I expected in a designer. She took my basic idea and seemingly effortlessly created a plan and vision that was exactly what I had hoped for. Working with Kari was great! Her design and product recommendations really brought our backyard plan to a level we would never have achieved on our own. Kari worked well with the contractors we had already selected and was able to provide solid recommendations for additional contractors for various aspects of the project. Her attention to detail is second to none. We really appreciated her counsel on developing a multi-phase project that can be accomplished over time but hasn’t left any aspect of our yard looking unfinished between phases. It was such a great pleasure working with Kari on this project - with simply stunning results. We started early on with Kari's 3-D digital modelling of her vision for the site, as well as reference photos for the stone components. We worked through a number of options for the dimensions and ultimate visual effect of the wall, column, and water feature stone cladding, working in concert with the lead stone mason from the installation company (Houston Landscapes), Kari (who maintained the communication with the client), and our stone supply options. As a relatively small install, the stone order needed to complete the job perfectly, with minimal overage ordered to avoid extraneous costs, while still ensuring adequate materials were on site. This required detailed planning of each type of stone piece; we built a flexible, visual reference model in MS Excel to detail the precise layout of the wall, column and water feature pieces before ordering these custom items. As you can see, the transformation of this space is exceptional. The client is thrilled. Throughout the entire process I found Kari to be extremely professional, available and responsive, detail-oriented, and all the while very personable and flexible within the boundaries of her and her client's vision. I look forward to the next time we can work on a project together, and would recommend Kari's services to any client.
