We moved here from another state to build a custom home. We felt overwhelmed when we realized we didn’t know where to go to get the finishes we envisioned for our home. Karen helped us source and select building materials like flooring and tile, and decorative finishes like flooring, tile, lighting, and plumbing fixtures. She also helped us select appliances and design our kitchen, bath, and closet millwork. Karen met us at designer furniture stores to help us select custom pieces and fabrics, then helped us with placing the furniture when it arrived. Karen met us at our home when the window covering contractor came to measure and helped us select our amazing shutters and shades. When there was a problem with a piece that arrived broken, she helped us get it replaced. She helped us get the look and feel we were hoping for and we are very happy with our home. We receive tons of compliments from anyone who visits.

We've worked with Karen on numerous projects for 3 years, including completely gutting the first floor of our house, replacing all of the flooring, repainting every wall and all of the trim, selecting all new furniture, fixtures, appliances, art, and other decorative accent pieces, and ultimately renovating our kitchen. We have loved the pieces, finishes, samples, etc. that Karen has selected every step of the way. Years ago, I was reluctant to hire an interior designer because I stubbornly thought it was an unnecessary expense and foolishly thought we could navigate all of these projects on our own and make good design decisions. I was so wrong, and I am so thankful that Karen was recommended to us and that we have worked with her every step of the way. I would never decorate or renovate a home ever again without an interior designer and would love to use Karen on literally any future project in any home. She is worth every penny and has saved my wife and I from "analysis paralysis" and wasting time on fruitless shopping excursions. We absolutely love how our home looks, and Karen has been a huge part of the journey.

Karen was hired to update/freshen our home for resale. I found Karen’s sense of style and design to be “spot-on” in achieving a more current look; while at the same time she remained cost-conscious knowing this home was soon to be put on the market. Also her subcontractors and vendors were of the highest caliber. With that being said, I would highly recommend Karen for not only small but also large decorating jobs. Karen was an absolute pleasure to work with while building our new home. She provided invaluable knowledge before, during and after construction and we are so thankful she was there to guide us through the process. She helped us choose everything from flooring, cabinetry, paint, room layout, faucets, sinks, tile design and the list goes on. Karen oversaw many of our post-closing installations (closet systems and shutters) and helped ensure these projects would be completed prior to move-in. I originally hired Karen to help me at the design center of our builder (Toll Brothers) when we first purchased our home. Her guidance was invaluable. She kept us from making costly mistakes and chose finishes that added value to our home for the long run. I now see that having a professional from the start is a must. I hired Karen again after we moved in and decorating has been much easier because of decisions made early on. Karen has a great eye for detail and comes up with fresh creative ideas. She recommends only quality crafts people when needed. When there was a problem a solution was not far behind. My home is an on going project and we stop and start often due to budget restrictions but Karen always comes back with a smile on her face ready to guide me once again. I highly recommend her.

Karen has exceeded my expectations in the ongoing process of decorating my new home. She listened to my requests for a comfortable, inviting place for myself and for my visitors. Karen has exquisite taste and a gentle way of guiding to the best choice while remaining aware of budgetary requirements. She is, in addition, a delightful person. Karen is a highly competent designer, and if you are willing to let her make all of the decisions, you will probably enjoy working with her. My experience was difficult and stressful. When I would not defer to her, she began emailing me photos and suggesting I order the item if I liked it. She eventually christened the project complete. I am now working with a designer who is happy to consider and incorporate my opinions. Things are back on track and my stress level is down, as I no longer feel the overwhelming pressure to do things her way.

A total renovation of our waterfront condo. The entire job was completed with professionalism and attention to every detail. We had a short time table to complete a long list of tasks. Karen oversaw every detail and promptly answered any of our questions and always responded respectfully to our concerns. Highly recommend her for any project you may be considering.

Karen has done a phenomenal job on the 2 homes I have built and renovated. People are literally speechless when they see what she has done in our newly renovated home. She listens to what you as the customer wants and has excellent vision. As a hard working person that travels for a living it works great to have Karen do all he shopping and text me photos- it saved me an incredible amount of time. Karen did a great job of working within our tastes and budget. She went out of her way to find the perfect pieces and accessories to fit into our various rooms and make them pop. She was committed to designing decor that fit our style and our house. We love getting compliments about our house, for which she was responsible. Importantly, Karen is personable and easy to work with. We would work with her again without hesitation.

I reached out to Karen after several of my friends worked with her on their home projects. I have an open floor plan house and there was a lack of flow and consistency that I was just not fixing on my own. Karen didn’t suggest a complete overhaul. Instead she selected a few items to swap out or relocate while adding her amazing accessorizing touch and all within my budget. She is a true gem in my book and I would hire her again in an instant. I wish I had asked her help from the very beginning.
