K Squared Construction

This is the second major project we have hired K2 to complete. Their communication is exceptional and beyond rare in the construction industry. They are very detail oriented, from planning through completion, every aspect was managed according to plan. The whole K2 team is a joy to work with. At the beginning of the project Rusty and Brenna plan and explain every detail meticulously, making sure you are fully aware of the scope, materials and timeline. From the start of the actual work, the Project Manager Jordan keeps you informed through every step, keeping any subs tight to the schedule and problem solving in real time as necessary. Jordan’s attention to detail is unmatched and he makes sure the work is under constant review and being completed at the highest standards. If subcontractors were doing work, a K2 employee was onsite at least once a day to maintain quality control. We just love the whole team so much and can’t recommend them enough. They are top notch and are able to deliver on all their promises. I am super creative and have asked them for design elements that were atypical (teak shower floor with a flush transition to slate flagstone in the Primary bathroom) and they use their high engineering and design skills to not just make it work, but make it gorgeous!

Brenna created a beautiful and creative design for our kitchen space. Rusty and his team implemented the design beautifully. The change from dark and very little storage to bright and tons of storage and counter space is amazing. We are very happy that we hired K Squared for our kitchen transformation.

K Squared is a company that can help you design and implement your vision for remodel. Together we were able to take a 1980s kitchen and bring it into a more current style and open up the space for greater functionality. Added features included a Baker's Cabinet to facilitate ease of accessing the mixer and food processor as well as the baking supplies.

It was a pleasure to work with everyone at K squared. Their communication was excellent. If I had a question, they answered it quickly and made sure I completely understood the answer. The quality of craftsmanship was excellent, as well. I always knew exactly where I stood with the progress of the project.

We were looking for a contractor to do a full kitchen & Master Bath remodel, plus install Engineered Hardwood floors throughout. K Squared came up with a competitive bid and we choose them for the job. No regrets. Rusty and his team delivered what they promised. They came in within time and within budget. I found Brenna and Rusty via Houzz when looking for a designer and contractor for a kitchen renovation. Our kitchen was old and worn from previous renters, and the layout was challenging; my fiancée and I had a hard time envisioning how we could make it better with a remodel and still keep it within our modest budget. That’s where Brenna’s expertise came in— she came up with a modern design that still had traditional elements and maximized our awkward space. It was exactly what we described, and she made it come to life. I told her my max budget, and she and Rusty were able to keep it under that budget, which was the icing on the cake. We even had a few wish list items that they were able to keep in the design, which was great. Rusty spent plenty of time walking me through the process and discussing all the cabinets, accessories, etc. It’s clear he cares about his customers and wants to make sure you understand what you’re buying— it’s a huge investment, and I really appreciated his honesty and attention to detail. In addition to the planning process, the workmanship is top notch. John and Dustin did most of the work, and they are true professionals. I got the feeling that they would have treated their own kitchen renovation the same way that they treated mine, and the end result was the proof of that. On top of that, they’re just genuinely nice guys who were always a text or phone call away if I had a concern. I would recommend K Squared to anyone looking to do work on their home. They’ll make the process as painless as possible, and you’ll end up with a high quality result. Thanks for all your hard work!

We hired K Squared to do a master bathroom remodel and kitchen updates including all new recessed lighting, the removal of a dated fluorescent light box and removal of a drop down set of cabinets. They also installed new flooring in 2 other bathrooms. From the first consultation to the final day, Rusty and the crew were professional, did quality work and finished on time and actually under budget. I appreciated Rusty's expert advice and help, especially with the design and materials of the vanities and flooring. I always knew who would be coming to work each day and they were quiet, respectful and on time. We love the final design and couldn't be happier. I really dreaded going into this home update since we had never done a project like this before. With KSquared, it was painless and a real pleasure to work with great crew of experienced professionals.

We hired the K Squared team to design and complete a total remodel of the lobby, communal restrooms, and hallways of a 25,000 sf office building we own. The lobby was dated and tired, and required removing a TON of tile. Brenna came up with a beautiful concept for the space that truly transformed the whole building. When the work was done, the results exceeded our expectations! The execution was beautiful and we (along with our tenants) loved how everything turned out. These guys are full service-from creating the design to following through in making it exactly as it was planned. They made the entire process of this huge project so easy and manageable.
