Lachman Interior design

Janice is a delightful highly skilled design professional. I am on my second house with her design. Some designers push you to accept their aesthetics and products - not Janice. She listened intently to my goals working with existing furniture -- adding design elements (furniture, paint colors, textiles) to bring disparate items into a cohesive whole. She designed: a kitchen, a bathroom, lighting, granite, flooring and outdoor patio. Janice's unique abilities include: passion about design, refined aesthetics, artist's eye (an award winning textile designer), efficiency, attention to detail, ability to identify unique products that fit style and budget and sage/practical advice. She is easy to work and comes up with beautiful design to bring one's own aesthetics forward and create a space to love for years to come.

Janice is an incredibly capable, articulate, friendly designer. She tailors her work to meet a client’s style and pocketbook, and happily tackles projects of all sizes. I have worked with her over three homes and 25 years. Her work is timeless.

Janice was referred to me by a friend, who sang her praises. What began as a little advice and a few suggestions on a small window treatment project has continued and grown. She takes the time to determine my style, likes and dislikes and integrates them with her expertise. She is especially talented in visualizing color in coordinating the bigger picture. I cannot imagine tackling a decorating or renovation project with her help,

Janice is a true professional with exquisite taste. I have used Lachman Interior Design for several projects from totally rearranging most rooms in my home, to selection of furniture including fabric .

Janice is an expert on fabrics. She was able to assess my living room and recommend the perfect color, type of curtain and rod that would look best in my living room. I would recommend her to anyone. I contiunously get flattering commments from guests who come into my living room. You will not be disappointed!! I give her a 5 out of 5 rating! She is the best!
